New modern day costumes coming to American Adventure?

well, they dont look the worst, they look much more bright and fresh than what the cast are wearing now, but they are pretty much just like the concept art shown earlier. Im not sure how they are to fit the colonial building. The pavilions in world shpwcase were always meant to take guests to a certain time period of that coubtrys history, these costumes definitely ruin that.

I can't believe they are actually going through with this....ugh.

The idea is bad and the design is bad. How is that innovative? I've got millions of bad ideas. Maybe Disney should give me a call.
The costumes are both new and a change from the old costumes. Therefore, they are innovative. Fashion is fickle so your dislike is another's pleasure.

The best thing to do is complain to guest relations when you visit. The only way this will change is if enough people flood the official channels with complaints. And if they do nothing, then it makes them look even MORE inept than they already are.

I agree that we need to complain. However, TDO seems to have no problem with looking inept. In fact, I think they pride themselves for it.

They have made many terrible decisions in the past, and no matter how many guest complaints (see the Lights of Winter fiasco), they usually dig their feet and the sand and refuse to budge. No matter how asinine their decisions are.

Apparently you have no understanding of the definition of innovation. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Complaining to Guest Relations isn't going to do anything at all. This is a done deal as the majority of the World Showcase Pavilions will be receiving costume changes in the near future.

It will note displeasure with the change. Then maybe we'll get a DisneyParks® Blog post about how this is just what guests want and goes back to newly discovered ideas Walt originally wanted for Epcot.

They look too much like the soaring attendant costumes in those pics. What a shame.
It's funny you mention Soarin'. I recall that back when "The Land" went down for the installation of Soarin', the complaints on this forum by a small group of people were rather numerous. I recall General Grizz expressing his displeasure with the change. Yet, it all worked out fine. People like General Grizz get frustrated about these changes and use these forums to complain. The changes happen anyway. I think we need to learn from history and embrace change.

A strip club and casino would be a change, and likely quite profitable as well. Doesn't mean it would be good for Walt Disney World.
I don't think Disney would propose such changes as you have mentioned. They have proposed the costume changes. I understand that change is difficult for some people to accept.
