New Imagination Park Disney Stores to use tech from the parks!

Obviously, everything these days is a "wait and see" (the proof is always in the pudding, not the early info).

But by and large, I am a fan of returning Show to the stores. It's absolutely true that the merch must be:

1. unique
2. high-quality
3. affordable
4. constantly new/rotating

for the store to be long-term success, but I take it as a positive sign that the Show elements are not forgotten this time around.

I imagine he was referring to the overall pompus attitude. The fact that it appears you take the time to write and re-write your posts. I would liken your posting style to the man in the bar at the begining of goodwill hunting. You know the one, the guy who likes apples.

Rampant pomposity!

Alas, only a marginal affectation on my part. Meaning I'm only slightly less insufferable in person. But nonetheless critical when taking on the role of foil, lest I be casually dismissed as an atavistic rube.

Man for the, not of the, people and all that rot. I think I just paraphrased "Gladiator". Jesus.

Are you saying that because somebody transmits their thoughts intelligently on the Internet, logically speaking, they must think they're better than everyone else? That's a rotten attitude.

That's not what you said, and I have read the whole thread. You're kidding yourself if you think ChrisM is the elitist here. I can barely stomach '74's condescending attitude toward "fanbois" in his posts.

It is the manner and tone in which you present your post.

Looks like it is what I said to me

Pembroke lakes is always a pig pen. I have seen dirty diapers left on shelves and spilled Starbucks on the floor. Displays all over the place. Just a dump.

As to WDCC, FYI, the company that now produces the line is liquidating much of its inventory at TJ Maxx stores across the USA.

I only saw one piece at the Sawgrass store, a broken tiki beach shack from Lilo and Stitch for $19.99 ... but friends around the country have reported seeing many all over. I'm not really a collector, but I picked up two PoC figures at WDW Prop Control for $20 a piece before Christmas.

My mom and I picked up a Clarabelle cow from the Mickey Mouse Club collection for $29.99 and and it's a small world English boy for $14.99... Scary!!! Its such a shame to see these statues on shelves, out of boxes, where children and other people are handling them like they are tennis balls or something... I almost freaked when I saw a little girl "strum" the harp of the Harp statue from the Mickey and the Beanstalk collection... She ended up breaking the statue. :(

I take exception that your entire posting history is personal attacks.

I can't believe you missed the posts expressing my unsuppressed hatred for the Dining Plan. Forgettable, I admit.

Would your angst be assuaged if I added my (admittedly) worthless opinion in a few other threads? Not all of us can average 47 posts per day, although it certainly seems like I'm trying my damnedest today.

In truth, I had no intention of stirring up a hornet's nest in this thread. Not my finest work, obviously. I'll skulk back into the shadows and bide my time for the next session of 74 whack-a-mole.

Oh, and if my boorishness offended you deeply enough, I'll be flying into Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow. Feel free to accost and rain blows down upon me.
