Here is video of the bride.

Ok so the new bride doesn’t look a little too masculine to anyone else? Is it just me? I’m getting young Tim Curry in a wig.

Constance was annoying and looked like garbage. Her face never lined up. The 90s Haunted Mansion beating heart Bride was my favourite. She was so beautiful and sad and genuinely scary. I don't quite buy the narrative that Constance was "too violent, " I just thought she looked bad. I don't quite like the face on the new one, but I like the idea of going back to this look.

I don't have any current video as the only video I found was on an IG story that has since expired, but they changed the audio at the exit crypt to some deep, creepy laughing. Very ominous.
It's the same audio as in this video

but as far as I know it hasn't been playing in the last few years, it definitely wasn't playing during my trip in 2023

This new video shows a little bit more. It shows how the portraits will fade the entire husband rather than their heads like I suspected. Also shows a couple new up close shots of the bride.
I sure hope that's not Constance's new voice.

So far, it at least looks better (not perfect, but better) than what was there before and like it's heading somewhere between what the bride used to be and what she became as Constance. Which is...not completely awful I guess? Not a ringing endorsement. But hey, I'd rather them tinker with the bride than with the stretching room.

Hoping that the ride's reopening tomorrow will bring more clarity.

The laugh has been there since opening. It sporadically works throughout the years. Sometimes going decades without being on I believe.

Sounds like a queen bee at the mall.

I see what you are saying. I think it might be more of a matter of Kim never liking the murderous bride, but she needed surveys (or lawsuits?) to make the case to corporate.
Lawsuits are public record. They’re be known. Not to mention you need standing and lawyers face sanctions for filing garbage.

Times and sensibilities change. America only realized axe murder was bad in 2018.

As much as I hate lending any ideas to the removal of the hanging Ghost Host, an idea crossed my mind, one that could leave the same narration in tact and preserve the concept of the “hanging” skeleton.

What if, instead of hanging by his neck, the Ghost Host was instead hanging upside down from a rope around his ankle? The implication of the new scene being that he tried to use a rope to climb his way out but unfortunately slipped, got tangled up and was left suspended until he died?

This would remove the implication of suicide, instead making it seem like an accident. But the scene would still be appropriately morbid and feature a “hanging” skeleton. The narration can remain the same and, to top it off, this new angle might give the folks below a better look at the actual skeleton since, as we’re looking up at him, he’s sort of looking back down at us just before he falls. His skeletal arms outstretched towards the Guests, could add an extra air of creepiness when the lights go out and he is implied to be falling towards us.

As a CM who worked the Mansion for 5 years, I can’t tell you many Guests had no idea what they were supposed to be looking at in the first place. This idea may alleviate that, too.

Disney, if you are listening and like it, you can have that one. I waive any legal right to my idea, it’s yours and I won’t get mad at all if you use it.

The face sculpt on Tokyo's Bride was best. Why not take scans of that?
For reference:

Something about the glowing eyes and fuller face would look better I think.

Also, I do think the One Eyed Black Cat could be lit more
