Mickey Views is a little clueless about how gondolas work and what they may be doing at the Speedway. I like his energy though. He is entertaining. He will delete your post if you try to correct him though.

Ha! That video showed up in my "Recommended" list on YouTube the other day. I laughed when he brought up the gondola testing theory. He had some MK expansion theories which didn't make much sense as well. Oh well, his content, I can choose to not watch it next time YouTube recommends it.

Three ropes and the Hollywood Studios one could be any time after they put the last two towers up. The other two lines they still have stations and towers to finish. Rope pulling can be pretty quick at ski resorts. Like a few days.

The biggest obstacle at the studios will be redirrecting the parked cars, unless they do that part at night.

Yeah I know. I didn’t even bother duggesting it. That dream died with Walt, Roy and some many of the original leaders that were in place in the 70s and 80s. The dream is now about dollar signs walking through the digital turnstiles.

I posted the same pictures in my random ramblings non trip trip report thread but figured it’s probably helpful to have them here as well given the topic. Anyway, besides a look at progress in a few spots, I was curious if anybody knew why all of the trees were cleared to the right of the huge planter next to France? It doesn’t appear to be in the way of anything.

No, that is for after you ride it. If it doesn't get you first, you're going to trip over those stumps and hit your head killing you. There is no escape.

Interesting. That has nothing to do directly with the installation of the gondolas...

Unless its to completely re-do the landscaping as a whole to account for the loss of trees on the other side of the fancy hedges.
