Likely to be no electricity in the gondolas (except during lightning storms), so, no audio announcement within the gondola. It will have to be playing in the station...

Woah, woah, woah! If you're not a Disney Vacation Club member then just sit down, this stop isn't for you. To our Disney Vacation Club members staying at the Riviera... welcome!

¡Basta, basta, basta! Si no eres miembro de Disney Vacation Club, siéntate, esta parada no es para ti. Para nuestros miembros de Disney Vacation Club que se alojen en la Riviera ... ¡bienvenido!
"basta" is no translation for "woah" in any way o_o
Basta = stop or enough.

TIG rope will be approximately 16,500'
THS rope ~7,900'
TPD 6,200'
Total 30,600'
54 mm wire rope weighs around 12.3 lbs. per foot.
Total weight 376,380 lbs. or 188 tons. It will probably be three separate spools.

Side note when I went to get those distances, Google Earth now shows gondola construction. There's been a ton of progress in the last six months.
Thank you! I knew you were the right person to ask. You saved me a ton of work.

Speaking of the ropes themselves, Mickey Views just announced that the Speedway station that the Skyliner will be crossing over will be closed for a few days this week and he suspects it is because they are going to "test" the towers at night near the station to see if the ropes are okay and everything. And on a side note, what do TIG, THS, and TPD stand for? I'm guess IG is International Gateway and HS is Hollywood Studios, but what's PD

I'm guessing @Lift Blog meant PC for Pop Century.

How many more towers need to be added?

It seems the towers, DHS -> Caribbean Beach are complete.
Also looks like Epcot -> Riviera are complete.
Are Riviera-> Caribbean and Pop -> Caribbean almost complete?

I'm not sure the guy in that video has a good grasp of how these work.
"the bullwheel which turns the gondola around."
"Is it possible some testing relating to the tension of the gondola wire and the operation of the gondola car itself could be going on above the speedway gas station after dark?"
"I feel like if there was a big mobile arm that was lifting up the gondola car onto a test portion of the the gondola line..."

TPD is what the Hourglass Lake line towers say on the number plates.

Best I can tell there are 2 towers left to put up on the Hollywood Studios line, 3 or 4 on the Epcot line and 5 on the Hourglass Lake line.

No, no, no. The line heading to DHS isn't perpendicular to the Pop-CBR-Riviera and so that pitched roof is at a slant. The whole structure needs to be torn down and built about 20 yard to the south. Start again!

What really frustrates me about this is that you have to get off one line and walk to another line. There is no reason why the two stations at the bottom of the picture can't be all one line (unless of course I am completely wrong and it is all one line). There should be a digital input to tell your car where you want it to go. They should have built in transfer mechinisms throughout the entire line. How Disney would that be?
