New flooring being installed in Epcot Future World breezeways

It never ceases to amaze me that a thread about new floor tiles can turn into a debate about the pros and cons of characters in EPCOT, personal evaluations of all the pavilions in FW, and criticism of management. Maybe it is just me, but I am not seeing the connection. :shrug:

What so everyone can moan things have changed :veryconfu They are only changing some brown floor tiles and I have seen a few moaners post! WDWMagic would go into melt down if we had too much change. On the subject of change in Epcot all the restrooms seem to be getting an refub over the past couple of years. I noticed back in May the ones by the lockers had been done and so had the ones in the same building as MouseGear store.

The Floor Tile thing is ridiculous.:shrug:

I wouldn't mind change if it was the GOOD kind of change.

Wouldn't Discovery World bring problems since there other parks that uses the term World of Discovery?

I'm glad the flooring is being redone. I always slipped on the brown tiles at work while it was raining. It was literally like walking on ice.

No, as stated before, that's in the plaza. This is in the hallway/breezeway to FW E/W.

thank god.. the original flooring was a law suit waiting to happen.. slipped there myself once and 'caught myself' mid-slip... ended up pulling my back..... seems like when it rains at epcot I ALWAYS end up in the breezeways at some point.

Every theme park needs a death trap if makes memories and a reminder that gives you that warm feeling that you are in epcot. makes you feel at gome like maby that one chair you hit your shin on everytime you walk past it of theat stuipd place mat you cant get rid of that always slides all over.

Yup. Also saw that back around July 25. Think it will be Innoventions Green & Blue?

Wouldn't be suprised! I'm waiting to see if the new scheme is extened into Innoventions Plaza and replaces the checkerboard pattern thats there now...

I hope that goes soon. Kinda clashes with the other patterns of the area.
