Still not a fan of palm trees and a European Chateau,I guess I'll have to see how it turns out. If they even use palm trees.

(ahem) The reason she stays in the same bed is because she's in Eric's guest bedroom; as afore mentioned, to show that 2 days pass. The weird trippyness may just be that Vanessa (i.e. Ursula) has an enchanting voice (Ariel's stolen voice) that Eric hears. This may be taken as a dream sequence as the lighting and the sounds are other-worldly when Ursula (Vanessa) comes out

Anyways, I love these rumors! And can't wait for Jaq and Gus-Gus in Living Character AA form...maybe...
That's just the soon to be BAU being herself. Black Magic and all. If that were the case, most Disney movies are dreams.

If the freaking palm trees are the biggest problem in this expansion, we are FINE.

But, the Mermaid castle and all is by the Mediterranean Sea. They have date trees. I fall to see the issue with it?

The queue, like Space Mountain's, will feature interactive elements and games to play.

I hope this isn't the new trend when it comes to WDW attractions. I personally can't stand the new Space Mountain games. It's a great idea when the queue is actually busy but when you get there first thing in the morning, you’re stuck behind a large amount of guests who think "Oh look bright colors! Let’s stop the line to look at them" and there is no way to get around them. If they do put more games in attractions in the future they need to have a way to turn them off if the queue isn't busy so the line can keep moving. Or if they can’t do that, at least build a 3rd line so guests can get around and go straight to the attraction.

Like I said earlier-it will be great in the immediate area. Not so great if you can see it from Pooh.

Agin,I'll just take a wait and see approch. Besides, like Evan said-if palm trees are the biggest problem,it'll be OK!

With Dumbo, there will not even be a line. They will be giving colored feathers to group people, and somehow signaling for that color to move from area to area in what will be like a three-ring circus.

The problem with that logic is, we shouldn't be able to see the castle from Pooh. I mean, they don't have on in the Hundred Acre woods.

All the more reason for Toad...

That aspect does not bother me, though. I'm thrilled that we are getting a better facade, though. Maybe it will help the Hundred Acre Wood illusion.

Toad had a huge medieval castle in the film? I don't remember that. :lookaroun

Fact of the matter is that it is FREAKING Fantasyland. So what if it has palm trees in it, it is supposed to be a FREAKING Fantasy.

I'm hopeful for a nice looking Hundred Acre area. :D

At least Toad was Midevil-y and European.:lookaroun:lol:

And yes, I agree with you. One area that this type of theming is fine in.

Y'all do realize you're arguing about Palm Trees don't ya? :brick:
It's Florida. Of course palm tress will pop up everywhere. Just ask EPCOT. :lookaroun

There you go. They could even mix date and palm trees together and the average tourist will not know the difference. So I don't see the concern for a palm tree that appears in TLM and probably in the final concept for Ariel's Undersea Adventure.

Just make the attraction truly worth it, along with the rest of the expansion.

EPCOT has too many palms, now that you mention it. (was that bait?) Palms belong in Adventureland, and in places like this, for theming. Not just generic landscaping. I miss the oaks that FW Central and East once had. West never had a problem.

Everywhere I've been in Florida, palms are generic landscaping. If you want to talk about what kind of trees are to abundant in EPCOT,how about those little scrubby trees that seem to be hugging every building(but that's for another thread).

I'm actually happy FL is getting more trees,it is lacking. Badly.

I know. Just scrub.

I would LOVE to see Boxwoods back.
