New attraction for AK?

As much as I'd like an IJ ride, it fits in with the other park that needs a ride, DHS.

I agree.I would love a Indy ride at DHS.But I also think Indy can fit really into any of the parks, especially AK. All they got to do is come up with an original story that takes place in Asia or Africa. Indy would be a great addition to either one of the parks, but sadly I'm sure its never gonna happen.

In an act of complete randomness, I would like to make a plea for this upcoming attraction to feature the Duckbilled Platypus.

While we're at it, show Australia / Oceania some love! An Oz section would be so cool! Maybe they can tie it in to a new movie, 'The Wizard of Oi'.

Ozzy ozzy ozzy, oi oi oi!

But it's still a theme park. A half-day, Disney theme park.

If Animal Kingdom was just about animals, then it would be a zoo. But it's not a zoo, and therefore it needs more attractions.

Woooooooo! Someone remembers Disney Marketing, circa 2003! Natazuu!

......And you're wrong.

There are numerous rumors right now but nothing concrete. If avatar dies, the closer you get to the death knoll the louder the rumors will get. Rohdes has 2/3 projects that I have heard he'd love to tackle if given the chance. For the parks I hear right now cars is the top priority followed by avatar and star wars. And before someone says its not coming stateside, it won't be for 5 years then you'll see a massive lucasfilm project

1. If they are going to do Cars Land, do it already. I don't understand the delay at this point. They know the space, they have the blueprints already, they need to start bulldozing and building. It's slow season in a few weeks, so no better time to close LMA/Backlot for good.

2. I agree with others that there is no reason to need to wait for SW Ep VII. Building attractions themed to Ep IV-VI (or even the prequels) would work out great. It's sure fire.

I promise cars land will start very soon. Star Wars I can see something by release of second film in trilogy

Guys.... its called "ANIMAL" Kingdom - Not "Ride" Kingdom.

We need more Animals. Maybe grizzly bears? We need bears. In time for Brave 2?

So Busch Gardens should be all about Gardens or Busch? It's a theme park. You can do an Animal theme without live animals. You want Grizzly Bears? Maybe we can do a National Parks attraction. Some of the best of Disney has drawn from them. Maybe it is time to renew that link. Bears in captivity are not all that thrilling, though. In the wild is where the action is. You haven't lived until you have been bluff charged by a grizzly while backcountry hiking. That gets the heart racing (along with racing stripes on the underwear).

Oi!

The platypus is one of the world's deadliest killers. Ferocious hunters!

Platypussies hunt by closing their eyes, blocking their ears, and using the Force. The great wizard that dwells in the sandy desert of the Outback, Oibi-Wan Kenoibi, describes this Force as an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.

The Force is strong in these ones  :

I'm all for unleashing bears when its time for park close.

* checks out Phineas and Ferb *

Ah! I get it now! That show already uses the theme of the supersensory, skilled hunter platypus having an image of a lazy creature. :lightbulb:

What can I say? I don't really watch Disny Channel cartoons. I'm a Disney parks fan for their history, world culture, technology, and natural history. I'm happy these traditional Disney subjects aren't tossed aside in the parks nowadays to make way for homogenised cartoon tie-ins everywhere and....wait, bah!

I think a National Parks themed area would be beautiful. As would be South America and Australia. I actually typed up a whole idea for a South American themed land for a contest on here.
