I got to meet Jo Jo White yesterday. Wow, what a talker. I would love to just have an hour to just listen to him talk. He was at a signing yesterday...and since there were only 6 people there, he was just basically talking to us about his life and the current state of the Celtics and NBA as a whole.

He was a little before my time, but after meeting him, it has made me want to go and watch some of the old games.

He played for 12 years...and he said that he had probably 8 more years in his legs but on the 13th year, the Celts had come under a different coach and he had assembled the team he wanted which didn't include Jo Jo. He was offered to go to three other teams but he said that Green ran through his veins and he wasn't interested in playing for anybody but Boston.

Certainly different from today when it seems like $$$ is the main or only motivator. I remember Jo Jo well from back in the day.

Wow... Lakers down by 21? That's crazy. I wouldn't have seen that coming the way the Celts played through the rest of the playoffs. Must have been saving it for this series.

WOW!!! (I'm sweating...and still shaking...hehe, ANOTHER great game!)

Do you know what I just realized... The Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics all had the best records in their sports this year. Let's hope they can pull off 2 out of 3

And as for the Bruins... we just don't talk about them. ;)

They are tough to watch. The Bruins are an organization that was once among the best...and now they seem to be in disarray. They don't need that one all-star...they need a team to get back to the basics. They get players they don't really need...and even if they do get a player they could use...they don't "mold" him into any sort of TEAM plan.

Hopefully they will get their act together but I wouldn't even know where to start.
