SO IF YOU WERE ON 495 THIS MORNING AND SAW A KID IN A GREEN SHIRT SCREAMING "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" AND "DON'T STOP BELIEVING" AND FIST PUMPING... THAT WAS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ZLX (ANYONE FROM THE BOSTON AREA KNOWS THAT STATION) PLAYED "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" WITH AUDIO CLIPS INSERTED FROM THE CELEBRATION LAST NIGHT... I LEGITIMATELY COULD NOT FIGHT BACK TEARS... I WISH I WAS JOKING... I REALLY DO... BUT I COULDN'T!!!!!!!!!



AND FOUR DUNKIN DONUTS LARGE COFFEES LATER MY HEART MIGHT BE READY TO EXPLODE... BUT I FINALLY SAW THEM WIN ONE!!!!!!! GROWING UP AT THE TAIL END OF THE BIRD ERA, AND HEARING ABOUT HOW GREAT HE WAS, AND THE TEAMS OF THE 80S WERE, BUT NEVER SEEING THEM... OHHHHHHHHHH MY GOD I CAN'T EVEN FUNCTION RIGHT NOW...

How big is the Manning-to-Burress TD pass in retrospect now? Obviously it was huge in football terms, but sandwiched in between titles for the Red Sox and Celtics, it seems even bigger now. Boston came within one play of sweeping titles in the three biggest sports over an eight-month span.

They had to cancel the stupid super bowl... they never played it...

The Pats went 18-0 and that was that... pretty solid year if ya ask me...

so Boston DID sweep the ONLY TWO championships played in the past 8 months...
