Another thing that's great. This isn't just the Lakers/Celtics...both of these teams are equally matched. A great offense against a great defense. It's the classic showdown!!!

Each of these teams deserve to be in the finals...and it truly is...the two greatest teams of the NBA going head to head.

by the way when Pierce got called for the "offensive foul" on the three pointer he made..... I RAN OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE AND STARTED JOGGING... I actually missed the next like 3 minutes of the game...

I legitimately did not know what to do with myself so I just started jogging...

The Lakers have to win this game...Phil has a perfect winning record when they win the first game of the series.

edit: and I'm going to loose my voice. I was screaming at the tv for the last 10 minutes. :lol:

You are??? What an emotional rollercoaster!

Pierce goes down and needs to literally be carried off the floor...then Perkins...
That place just erupted (my living room did too) when Pierce came out of that tunnel.

Hopefully he'll be good to go on Sunday. This is the NBA! Also, aside from a few missed "out of bounds" calls...I thought the officiating was decent.

Soooo nice to see Ray Ray aggressive like he was last night. You can just tell that he wants it bad.

i have a sprained wrist and I may have broke it last night cuz I was going absolutely berserk and kept clapping wicked hard or pounding on stuff...

seriously hurts so bad this morning....







soooooooooooooooooo worth it...

and by the way...




I DESPISE THE TRIANGLE OFFENSE...


it's so absurdly incredible it almost seems unfair...

The Lakers (Gasol and Odom mostly) get at least 15-25 wide open layups/dunks a game, completely uncontested...

Phil runs the thing so freaking well at this point that it's almost entirely unstoppable... and then... when it is stoppable... Kobe hits those 20 foot turnaround fade aways falling out of bounds which no other human besides Jordan could make (no... im not comparing them or saying Kobe = Jordan... just that the shots he can make on the floor... no one other than Jordan could do with such ease...)

but its just frustrating to watch... easy buckets for the C's are Garnetts 15 footers and Pierce's step-backs... which aren't really easy... at best they're like... 60%... whereas they will get 15-25 100% success shots outta the thing...




just venting on how frustrating the triangle offense is... and yet absurdly effective and therefore terrifying...

I'm highly competitive. I really get into sports.

Oy. I wasn't too happy when Pierce came back...I would've been fine with him staying in that locker room for the rest of the season. :lookaroun
