Game 3 is obviously do-or-die. Boston has held serve, but L.A. probably needs to win all three of these games, something that I don't think has ever been done in the 2-3-2 format.

True. In order for L.A. to win, they have to take at least one in Boston; now it could possibly be two. I don't see that happening. This is why you've got to get a split on the first two games. What I like is that Boston forced LA to win it in Boston. That's huge in itself.
Wow, did not realize how many Celtics fans were on the boards. Good to see the green getting some love.
After the last series against Detroit, I think that the Celtics will pull off one win on the road at least and take the series at home. Initially I thought that the Lakers would blow us out of the water, but the Celtics bench is too dominant over the Lakers bench.
Woulda been an amazing comeback had the Lakers won last night

Hello new friend!Ha you guys talk about NBA playoffs on this board?!?!?! THAT IS AWESOME!!!
personally I am a Wizards fan, but since they can't get out of the first round every year I have to root for other teams
I was pulling for the Lakers coming into the series because Boston has just won too much in every sport recently, but the Celtics(bench especially) have really surprised me. Woulda been an amazing comeback had the Lakers won last night
The refs are in the NBA's pockets and this is one of the highest rated NBA Finals in recent history so...you can be assured that the NBA will "make sure" it goes at least 6 games.
Why wouldn't the NBA "make sure" the series goes a full 7 games?
More money. More PR.
^Theory or no theory...WE WON!!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
I couldn't watch, but my cell phone actually behaved and I kept checking in on the score via internet. I hated not being able to watch.
Celtics win thursday, lose Sunday... win game 6... it's that simple...
btw... i love how with the national media... the C's won game 2 strictly because of terrible officiating (which is true) and then the Lakers won last night because they wanted it more... because they were aggressive, and because the Celtics didn't have it...
little bias in the national media??!?!?!
When it comes to basketball broadcasting...I hate nobody more than Stephen A. Smith.
