I've seen things, man! Actually, I've witnessed a lot of weird stuff and had bad things happen, but it's usually just the back of my ankles being ran over with incoherent parents pushing strollers. It hurts like a you-know-what and I can see how that can start fights.

Things I've witnessed over a span of 3 years...
#1. People yelling at the bus driver to let them on when there's no room and having the door closed in their face.
#2. A car stopping in front of a bus and crossing all lanes of traffic to get to an exit.
#3. People loudly booing President Obama at the Hall of Presidents, ruining the experience.
#4. A girl who couldn't handle her liquor was passed out in the grass near the entrance to World Showcase.
#5. A woman with a bright, iPAD filming Carousel of Progress in front of us (very distracting).

Happened with Bush, too. People can get very rude and nasty when politics are involved - which is why political discussions aren't allowed here.

Well just got back from a day out at Disney and it appears I'm now the forum 'story teller'? That's ok though to be honest, I'm a guy on the internet and as such of course I could be making stuff up as I can't really prove it one way or the other. Maybe if I was reading it I'd be dubios but all I can do is say that it really happened and let folk decide.

Regarding the above threads leet's put them into a bit of context for you.

# 1 I really met a guy (with mental health problems) calling himself John last year, it was rather humourous and I shared the tale.

# 2 I never had my nose broken ar Epcot, it was a response or variation of another posters thread about that topic and was meant as a laugh as I believe 99.9% of people who read it can tell.

# 3 This happened many years ago (I spend at least 3 full weeks a year at Disney every year so over 35 years this covers many visits where nothing strange happpened) probably about 15 years ago and did happen.

Then as for last night, if I were going to make it up then apart from that making me a very sad individual, I'd like to think I'd have made it a little more exciting! I didn't see the 'assualt' or 'restraint' but rather the aftermath. I'm rather puzzled myself as to why this happened (alcohol is a guess) and can only take the word of a couple who said what they witnessed and what happened when we got there.. I've not made myself part of the story as such but just thought it may interest people or that soembody else may know more about it. I initially wondered where on earth the guy would get a stick from as that seemed odd, I can only think it was a walking stick or such? I didn't see any stick nearby though if honest I wasn't really looking for one at that time.

I'm not making anything up but if people think I am then fair enough, there's not much I can do to prove it and I see things on here from time to time and think 'hmmmmmmm'. Anyhow just for that I'm not going to share today's tale of meeting Britney Spears and Beyonce at the studios and being taken back to their hotel room for the afternoon, so that's your loss :D

Alright...of the five things listed name one thing that other then the President at the Hall of Presidents, that wouldn't or doesn't happen everyday on street corners all over the country. I've been a bus driver (municipal) I have had people yelling at me and I have closed the door in their face. I cannot tell you how many times I have been cut off by a highly considerate idiot crossing lanes. How many people, male or female, passed out on the grass near someplace. As for world Showcase, everyday many people fall asleep on the grass at Disney, exhausted and attempting to re-energize. No big deal there, wouldn't even be noticed by most. Filming at CoP with an iPAD, same old, same old happens everywhere at every event due to brain dead's that believe that the world revolves around them.

None of these compare with the reported incidents of the OP. They are completely bazaar and so far out of the norm of behavior that the mere frequency of these events tends to create a certain amount of doubt. BUT, I could be wrong. Anyone can believe whatever they like, I'm just saying that I am not buying what is being sold.

Slow down before you hurt yourself. Nobody is accusing you of being a 'story teller'. I was simply pointing out the obvious fact that these types of obscure incidents have happened multiple times during your presence.

Though I highly doubt your story of going back to a hotel room with Britney Spears & Beyoncé.
(Everybody knows Beyoncé doesn't like to participate in any activity which involves a team effort, and neglects to spotlight her exclusively).

It's that moment when someone is booing an animatronic figure that he/she should really consider sitting down & reevaluating his/her life decisions.

Of course, this is coming from a guy who's been known to applaud the Country Bears after their presentation.

The last time I attended the Food and Wine Festival was during a very hot and busy Columbus Day Weekend in 2009. I have never seen so may drunk and disorderly people in a Disney theme park before. It was amateur hour at its worst. The folks working security at that time were kept very busy by all the knuckleheads. Those who are considering bringing their children to Epcot during F&W should maybe stick to attending Mondays through Thursdays.
Exactly.

This is a Disney family theme park. Don't bring children, it is dangerous for them. :banghead:

anyone else think the food and wine (and throw in a couple beers and hard alcohol) festival had anything to do with this?
If you organise a booze festival, you get drunks, drunk guests and aggressive behaviour.

I wish Disney wouldn't serve alcohol at its theme parks except to go with meals in some restaurants.

where did he get a stick?
When sticks are outlawed, only outlaws will have sticks!

And if the bystanders had all had sticks, the perpetrator could've been brought down earlier, instead of having to wait for the marines to intervene.

This message brought to you by the National Stick Organisation. 'Sticking up' for your right to bare arms in the hot Florida climate!
