So the natural, Tokyo Disneyland, next progression of the Prix Fixe menus is to charge more for the time slots that guarantee fireworks viewing from the table.

They just want consistent table turns and a guaranteed revenue per seat. They clearly don't care about the experience.

Hopefully Flying Fish will avoid being ruined since it's not in a prime fireworks location.
I think so - the only non fireworks restaurant that's been forced to change to Prix Fixe is 'Ama 'Ama at Aulani. That place didn't strike me as somewhere people were ordering apps or desert only - just seems to be Hawaiian economics.

Talking to servers and managers at CA Grill - the ones who wanted to run a quality restaurant don't like it as a concept... but nobody's complaining about the guaranteed revenue. Table hogging was a huge problem.

If you want a good Disney meal, go to Napa Rose.

That one should be fine, blame TikTok for all the “DID YOU KNOW you can sit here for hours and just order one dessert to share with a firework view?!” for the other restaurants

It’s sad they keep turning their fine dining restaurants into glorified fireworks cupcake party spots, but what do I know.

That's the next logical step...

Don't bother ordering and cooking meat and fish, just charge $120-$150 per person (alcohol extra) for dessert and cheese only and call the place "The Grand Evening Finale - A Disney Fireworks Nighttime Enrichment"

Yeah, the only non-fireworks location I can think of that's prix fixe at WDW is Space 220, and that's an attempt to avoid the same problem but for a different reason.

I don't think Space 220 is interesting enough to necessitate that (the space window isn't very impressive), but that's beside the point.

Don't get me started on Space 220....what a mess.

No
By my count, it is a choice of: 3 appetizers, 5 entrees, 4 deserts.

Definitely pre-fix.

Half the entrees and apps of the 2022 menu, with the elimination of all salads.

Surprised there is no vegetarian appetizer listed.

I would think they would have tagged it as prix fixe if it was truly so. Might just be a significant menu reduction with the inevitable price increase.

But yes in essence this reduces it to a prix fixe if there are no other choices than what is listed in the blog.

And Disney makes it official - Narcoossee's returns April 1st. Reservations open March 1st.

Disney Park's Blog links to the WDW page but apparently "Someone at the page!"
