Mystery Project at Epcot

If I had to guess, it is one of the following:
• New France, China or Canada Film
• New Soarin Film
• EO Replacment Film
All of these seem pretty reasonable, plus, I would doubt the given timeline, given that it is unannounced and seems to be a film, but, I would not rule out some kind of energy do-over as it relies of film quite a bit

Given Jerry Rees' previous works (Mystic Manor, Cranium Command) I would be shocked to see this not be Imagination pavilion related. It just seems right up his alley. Mystic Manor's effects and characters (a wise old man and his creature sidekick) could be a cool template to use. A template that is tried and true, and darn impressive. An overhaul of the Magic Eye theatre BEFORE Journey Into Imagination doesn't make total sense.

My thoughts exactly.

Lookie there, one of his previous works is an old shuttered ride at EPCOT which is a lot like inside out, hmm...

I know that there are a few people that think Inside Out would be a great fit for Cranium Command (I see where they are going, I tend to agree), but I just don't see the powers that be revamping an attraction in a shuttered pavilion. Moving it somehow to a different pavilion? Maybe. But I'm not sure if that would even be possible or how it would work. And I don't see them resurrecting a defunct pavilion just for one attraction either. There would have to be a new concept for the whole pavilion, and as much as Future World needs the TLC, I just don't see that happening right now. Unless Inside Out is the next Frozen or Toy Story. Then lets buy some furniture and give the cat a name.

I don't know how recently this was changed, but Jerry Rees website says this:

" "Mystery Attraction" / EPCOT
Next-gen larger-than-life interactive spectacle.
Premiere planned for late 2015 or early 2016."

If you click on the "Mystery Attraction" link you get this:

Imagination: It involves larger-than-life interactive spectacle, all the SENSES!

Spaceship Earth from 1994-2007 had an incredible ending. I miss it every time I go on it. This mystery project was announced long before Inside Out was a thing, I believe. I could be wrong. But I don't think they would bank that much on a movie this early on that may or may not be successful.
Exactly and with Jerry's resume and how he's hyping the new attraction I feel like it's going to be something bigger than a simple movie based attraction. I could be wrong but it's just what I got from it.
