Ok I want to start by saying there's not much for me to say really. BVS has been done already in DCA, I just want it to be done better. I think instead of looking at this as a clone, think of what it represents for the park.
Buena Vista Street
Not sure how many of you have experienced this at DCA yet, but it's pretty amazing (I'm talking Tokyo DisneySea level!). I want to bring this gorgeous land over to DHS because it really is the perfect beginning for the park. Everything the guests are going to experience throughout the day is in some way inspired by the work of Walt Disney so why not celebrate his beginning? The land is based in the 1920's, when the motion picture business really started growing in popularity, another reason why the land is perfect.
Now DCA has a very small entrance space, DHS however is much larger. So the land would be expanded greatly to include more of this beautiful architecture...
Also added would be a few more hints towards Walt's career as well as other popular stars of the time (Charlie Chaplin). The Red Car Trolley would also come to DHS and turn down Sunset Blvd.
Most of the buildings would be shops however this would be the new home to One Man's Dream (an updated version) allowing for more space in Animation Courtyard.
As for the Chinese Theatre, luckily it was around in the 20's and it symbolised the beginning of the golden age of Hollywood. The theatre would play a role with the new park statue named "One Day". The statue features young Walt, suitcase in hand, and an early version of Mickey Mouse. Mickey is pointing towards the theatre in awe. Walt has his hand over Mickey's shoulder and is staring out at the theatre with a look on his face saying "I'll make it one day." Which he did! Mary Poppins premiered at the Chinese Theatre when Walt was at the pinnacle of his career, what a perfect fit!
As for the Hat, it will be the new entrance to the animation courtyard!
Well that's my idea, bringing the classic hollywood as well as Walt's beginnings into the park.
