One thing I must do is remeber my Golden Rule be calm and understanding at the parks. I try to be friendly and helpful if someone has a question. I am fortunate to be able to go to WDW any time I wish. I remind myself when I go that for some people this is there first and perhaps once in a lifetime trip to WDW. I do not want to be an AP entitled snob.

Hmm... This is a good thread. Usually I'm so busy thinking about what I want to do it never occurs to me to think what I don't want to do. So here goes..

American idol
Parades
Most shows
Taking pictures with characters
Movie in Canada
Character meals
Stitch great escape
Disney quest
Water parks

With that said that's all going to change now that I have babies. I'm sure parades, character meals and shows will surely be part of my next trip.

No doubt you will spend all of your time doing only those things!! Those are all DD3's favorites. With the FLE we may not get out of Fantasyland for the next 3ish years!

My must don'ts:
LMAX
Ellen's Energy Adventure (I love the show, but it's not worth the time it takes)

*DONT HATE ME* I hate HATE the Carousel of Progress! It's soooooooo boring and cheesy. Im willing to do it to get out of the heat o_O

Also, Soarin - I don't understand the hype
American Idol - I dont like the show past the auditions and don't understand how it became a ride at Disney! lol

And people who bump into my stroller! I do my BEST to watch out, to watch ankles and I never EVER use it to "make my way" through things, so it really drives me nuts how many people do that (I know, I know....but thats just something that really irked me last time...LOL)

lol we can't be friends... hahaa

Parades... unless it's spectromagic at night, but I just stand wherever. I don't understand how people get there an hour before and just sit and wait for it. That is valuable time!

I have the same feeling on Wishes, if you're there you're there but no need to get some amazing spot.

I love pretty much everything about the parks, but I will actively avoid the Maelstrom post-ride film.

Sorry Norway.

I also always try to skip the first part of the Studio Backlot Tour. After 23 years of watching the same "Harbor Attack" special effects demonstration, you kinda know what happens next.

OOOO True!!! We didn't see a single parade last time we were there, but came out of the HM line (the ride was down) to see HORDES of people just standing around and had no idea what they were doing until we saw the parade coming! It was the perfect time to head to Splash Mountain! HAHA

MAGIC KINGDOM
-Stitch's Great Escape (reason: awful attraction)
-Tomorrowland Speedway (reason: long line, smells, short ride, plus I can actually drive)
-it's a small world (reason: Disneyland's is better)
-Prince Charming's Regal Carousel (reason: long line for a ride that doesn't provide much enjoyment)
-Country Bear Jamboree (reason: It's old, It's boring, It reminds me of a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic show...do they still have those?)
-Aladdin's Magic Carpets (reason: I'd rather ride Astro Orbiter or Dumbo)
-Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room (reason: snooze fest)
-Casey's Corner (reason: there are better food choices at MK)
-Watching the first showing of the Main Street Electrical Parade (reason: too many rude people)

EPCOT
-Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable (reason: old and boring)
-Norway film (reason: incredibly outdated)
-Moroccan Restaurant (reason: indoor environment and food was pretty bland, missed the belly dancer)
-African Outpost (reason: you have an international food court and you want a hot dog?!)
-Electric Umbrella (reason: again, you have an international food court or even Sunshine Seasons and you want basic American fast food)

DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
-Studio Backlot Tour (reason: what is there really left to tour?)
-American Idol Experience (reason: once was enough)
-Hollywood & Vine (reason: there are better buffets on property)
-Countdown to Fun Parade (reason: it's probably the worst Disney parade I've ever seen)
-first showing of Fantasmic (reason: you have to arrive over an hour early to get seats)

DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
-Dinorama (reason: it's an ugly carnival)
-Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade (reason: not worth sticking around for)

DOWNTOWN DISNEY
-Disney Quest (reason: too expensive for an arcade)
-Rainforest Cafe (reason: expensive for mediocre food)
-T-Rex (reason: expensive for mediocre food)
-some seats in various theaters at AMC Downtown Disney (reason: some seats have blocked views of the screen...yes some block up to 25% of the movie screen....poor planning)

WALT DISNEY WORLD IN GENERAL
-Turkey Legs (reason: too much bone to pick through and looks nasty)
-Balloons (reason: very expensive for something you can't take on most rides, in some buildings, to Animal Kingdom, or to the airport)
-Disney's All-Star Resorts (reason: long lines for transportation, small beds, tour groups/school groups/cheer groups, mediocre theme, better options off property)
-taking the Express Monorail right after fireworks (reason: long lines and rude people)
-Chef Mickey's (reason: very overrated)

MAGIC KINGDOM
-Stitch's Great Escape (reason: awful attraction) Agree 100%
-Tomorrowland Speedway (reason: long line, smells, short ride, plus I can actually drive) I gotta say this is an Enviromental hazard. And its time to upgrade or get get rid of this.
-it's a small world (reason: Disneyland's is better) Never been to the DL version. But umm, I'm sure you are right.
-Prince Charming's Regal Carousel (reason: long line for a ride that doesn't provide much enjoyment) Most likely agree

EPCOT
-Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable (reason: old and boring) Never been
-Norway film (reason: incredibly outdated) Agree
-Moroccan Restaurant (reason: indoor environment and food was pretty bland, missed the belly dancer) 100% right! Though the Belly dancer, I saw her and was not impressed. Was waiting for my chilled monkey brain for dessert though, it never came.

I have to agree with American Idol, as the show stinks on tv, I can't see it being anything I would waste my time on. As for everything else, I always say I won't do this or that, but always do. There is only one resort I will not stay at, CBR, and that's only because of one very bad experience with bugs. There is also one restaurant I won't do, Hollywood and Vine at DHS. Just seemed dirty, and the food was blah.
I auditioned for AI one time, and the guy said, "you have a lovely tone". I sang somewhere over the rainbow. But, to no avail. The experience was neat, but I don't care for it anymore.:(

Must DON'Ts

Country Bear Jamboree
All of Animal Kingdom (Only do it because my fiance likes it)
Swiss Family Robinson Tree House
Any and all parades
Any and all World Showcase movies (unless its for a nap)

Everything else - like...I'll do it if someone in the group wants to - but these are the things I really try to avoid doing.

Must don'ts? Hmmm... good thread.:)
Let's see here... I wouldn't call them must don'ts, just "skip-overs". LOL:D
Hall of Pres., TSI, SF Robinson, Carousel ( I like it, but my boys would rather not. LOL)
Ellen's EE, JIA (but my boys still love it, go figure!), Maelstrom & the Mexico boat ride.
Indiana Jones ( my boys like it though), AIE, Honey I shrunk the Kids playground (boys used to love it), BLT ( like it sometimes- I was a part of the preshow once-FUN!)
It's a Bug's Life- sorry, but the 4-D bugs freak me out!:(

I try to spend the least amount of time possible in DHS. Get in, ride Tower, RNRC, and Movie Ride, and GTFO. :p

I don't care much for DAK outside of the rides, so the trails and shows are usually must-don'ts.
