If you haven't done the Canada movie in a few years you may have missed the one with Martin Short....it is actually much more entertaining than the original 'documentary' on Canada.Hmm... This is a good thread. Usually I'm so busy thinking about what I want to do it never occurs to me to think what I don't want to do. So here goes..
American idol
Parades
Most shows
Taking pictures with characters
Movie in Canada
Character meals
Stitch great escape
Disney quest
Water parks
With that said that's all going to change now that I have babies. I'm sure parades, character meals and shows will surely be part of my next trip.
I shall never again tie a lasso around one of the castle spires, and swing back and forth while shouting, "last one in the moat's a rotten egg."
By the way, Disney handcuffs hurt the wrists, in case you were wondering.
I'm on the left. Man, I need to work out more.
Did you reply to the MUST DO's? I'd be interested to see what you do enjoy! : ) LOL
Eating at Hollywood and Vine...horrid...I feel nauseous just typing the name
Since I've only been once, this is what my "dont's" are:
- Stitch...worst attraction ever in my book
- Turkey legs - I can't get past how they look
- Dole Whip - not a fan
- Grilled cheese sandwich at the Quick Service at Poly (oh my, it was awful)
Will have to see what gets added after December trip :O
*DONT HATE ME* I hate HATE the Carousel of Progress! It's soooooooo boring and cheesy. Im willing to do it to get out of the heat
Also, Soarin - I don't understand the hype
American Idol - I dont like the show past the auditions and don't understand how it became a ride at Disney! lol
And people who bump into my stroller! I do my BEST to watch out, to watch ankles and I never EVER use it to "make my way" through things, so it really drives me nuts how many people do that (I know, I know....but thats just something that really irked me last time...LOL)
We never do water parks or disney quest. We have done them before we had kids.
I can't wait to do one of the water parks! We were going to do it this year, but it's just so much money to add to our passes! So instead, we're going to the beach one day....HAHAWe never do water parks or disney quest. We have done them before we had kids.
I can totally agree with this! I definitely think we'll go on it on this next trip, even just to escape the heat and let the kids rest up for a bit....hahaBritt -
I think the Carousel of Progress is something that is a "once in a lifetime" for a lot of people, so don't feel bad. I happen to enjoy it as a little break in the day. My husband hates it. My son and daughter are evenly split on it (son loves it, and daughter can't stand it). My niece and nephew take a little nap during it and are fully recharged for more fun when it's over.
I think the Carousel is very interesting because I remember reading about a lot of those time periods in school and like seeing the family's home through the years. I also love the idea of being in a revolving theater, which is still amazing to me.
I kind of know the Carousel's days are numbered so I go on it every year I am there because within the next few years I bet it will be gone (as soon as Tomorrowland gets a serious overhaul and TDO invests funds to replace it).
I like almost everything at WDW but I must mentioned one that hasn't been mentioned...
It's tough to be a bug. I don't like being attacked in the dark, poked in the butt, or stunk at. It feels like a trigger for all kinds of anxiety and I am pretty calm.
(Come to think of it, as a rule I do not like the attractions that shoot stinky smells me - Bug, Imagination, Stitch.)
Okay, sgt....there's a story behind this, and I would kind of like to hear it.
What dish did you have? What time did you eat? DETAILS!
