Last week was a TOUGH week @ WDW, a combination CM managers & non-managers thru out the park is a BIG deal IMO for the numbers & swiftness of the cuts. What this does to overall CM park morale can not be underestimated! Duckberg
CM morale is terrible from what I've heard. Plenty of my friends have expressed out right fear for themselves and their friends.
Thats no different than anywhere else in the country.
The biggest problem now is the fear.
Yep, VERY top heavy.7/10 of 1% of WDW employees. All in some form of management. WDW is very manager heavy. Guest won't know the difference.
Yep, VERY top heavy.
I dont think the customer will know abit of difference....which is GOOD!
Except that it may get better!
Time will tell...im hoping that this will make for big improvements.Except a lot of these positions from the way I understand aren't top heavy. Most of these 450 aren't executives or VPs or directors that have little contact with day to day operating CMs.
They are mid-low level managers that have direct impact with guest interaction CMs.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this.
If I'm right, guests are going to notice.

However, from what I have seen, the line management to hourly CM ratio is pretty high. Meaning that you have a management person for every 6 or 7 houry people working. This is what I have heard through numerous sources - so please correct me if I am wrong.

You know folks that work there..i know folks that work there.Really?
Where are you getting your info to base that very incorrect assumption?
These people who are losing their jobs largely DIRECTLY affect guest experiences.
It's amazing what people believe ...
Really ..
