Pixie Hollow go bye-bye.

To me, a trade of the entire Toon Town Fair for two Dumbo spinners and an interactive queue area seems like a serious downgrade.

I knew PH was never going to happen when Rasulo said in his speech at D23 "and perhaps sometime in the future we'll see a Pixie Hollow area." Everyone seemed to completely ignore it at the time but it was obvious he had no intention of allowing it to happen.

I don't believe so...yet. They seem to be keen on having a phase 2. Or maybe 3.;):lookaroun

Not only does DL have more attractions, the DL counterparts are also a lot better than those at MK.
:wave:

:lol::rolleyes:

I know I personally haven't been to DL, but I do know DL isn't considered by most to have every superior attraction. I'm sure some can back me up on this, too. Here's what I've collected from reading opinions on the subject on this board and many boards like this.

BTMRR = Better at MK-> Longer ride, the original Baxter concept
HM = Better at MK-> Longer ride, new/working effects
Space = 50/50, some families can't enjoy DL's
JC = 50/50, DL has piranas, MK has temple
TTA = .... nuff said

Stuff aside from MK

Star Tours = way better at DHS queue-wise
HISTA = better hand in hand with the Imagination Institute... alright doesn't count! HISTA sucks!
Innoventions = better at Epcot, more to do at Epcot

And I'll be the first to admit MK pales in comparison to DL- by a lot... and I've never even been there! But MK isn't a second rate park just because it lacks DL's roster. They're both great parks! :cool:

Phase 3= Boys(and possibly some girls) + Kingdom Hearts +In Park + Action + Adventure= A totally new adventure that I'm sure other people and I think would be awesome. Something to match up to Potterland for us! I mean like you get and interactive Keyblade where screens let you feel like your in the battle!
:lookaroun

EDIT: This would work great where Enter the Comics is at Disney Quest in Downtown Disney!

Didn't feel like quoting. Long post.

BTMRR - your right it is longer and maybe the only exception that beats DL.

HM - First off it's not longer(i have no idea where you gathered that) and DL's HM has new effects. DL's HM area is immersive and not tucked in a funneled corner where you have a great view of the show building. :rolleyes:

Space - Experience wise, DL wins hands down. MK's does has the better coaster, but I don't usually care on a Disney attraction. Also MK's SM is laced strongly throughout tomorrowland, but that is slowly going away.

JC - at least DL's JC animals move.

TTA - DL doesn't even have a counter part....

Innoventions - DL is even challenging other parks. :ROFLOL:

Ones you didn't mention.

Splash - DL's is longer and has more than double AA in it's show scenes.

Small World - this is obvious.

Pirates - DL's is longer and the show scenes are much stronger. Besides, you don't have the cool little restaurant that watches the boats.

Indiana Jones - :lol:

Submarine - Oh wait that something MK doesn't have. Does this make up for it not having a TTA?

Matterhorn - Baxter may have designed the original BTMRR, but the big man himself designed this one. Besides at least Harold works. :rolleyes:

I could go on.

I think both parks are great. If your wanting to compare them at their current state, you need to know what MK is up against. Not only does DL's roster of attraction is superior, their show performance also blows MK out of the water by having all effects working and show lighting and so on. To me I really could careless on who has more rides because the most important thing is the execution of the show. I'm really pulling for this new expansion project to be a birth of rich story telling, filled with unique fun experiences that would improve the entire park as a whole.

Yeah, that would work in Disney Quest, but definitely not in Fantasyland. Especially in Fantasy Forest. Lolz. CEO Boom at the RADP Newsgroup (whom is an imagineer) hinted towards there being more to the expansion. She mentioned; "consider this expansion as Phase 1."

I think it would work better if Dumbo was on the top but Speedway has to either be removed or get a change in layout because it's kind of in the way. It ruins the theming of that area as we know it.

You can't see HM's show building whatsoever and yes our Mansion is longer You've been to the MK right? And if it isn't longer then we have a few more scenes- and there is much more covered at MK than DL showroom-wise... I've seen some :hurl: pics

JC - at least DL's JC animals move.

So do ours. I would know- I just went to MK.

TTA - DL doesn't even have a counter part....

It did until DL ruined the track.

Splash - DL's is longer and has more than double AA in it's show scenes.

Like EE said, newer AA's, plus all working effects- double seating

Pirates - DL's is longer and the show scenes are much stronger. Besides, you don't have the cool little restaurant that watches the boats.

I hate the PotC... should of got Western River Expedition :fork:

Indiana Jones - :lol:

We have no counterpart- but Dinosaur is preeeety cool imo :lol:

Submarine - Oh wait that something MK doesn't have. Does this make up for it not having a TTA?

At least we're reusing the area and not letting it sit in despair and agony.
:p

out of the water by having all effects working and show lighting and so on.

I may be forgetting something, but nothing stook out like a sore thumb that wasn't working on my last trip. :shrug: And we have show lighting :lol:

You can see the HM facade but show building? I don't think I've ever seen it. This is WDW we speak of correct? I was just there yesterday and I saw nothing.

It's not being snotty, it's having pride in your park. Something that MK is sorely lacking(but getting better).

You call it pride, I call it snotty :lol:

MK is not a second rate park even though it doesn't have DL's roster :rolleyes:. We got 4 parks to spread the love to. They have 1 and a half :lol:
