More detailed blueprints

Don't get me wrong It is a mess but I still had a great time! The new art looks great, I just wish it was something original.

There was much more to it than just the park. This huge project was to evolve the entire resort.

I know. He was saying that DCA was nothing but WDW clones. The attractions I listed before were the only WDW clones that are part of DCA.

Soarin is a DCA clone, and TSMM was built at the same time.

Clones in general (whether they be at DCA or WDW first doesn't matter)

So:

ToT (haven't done this- but still respect the greatness )
TSMM
MuppetVision
ITTBAB
Soarin'
Playhouse Disney
Turtle Talk

In the future- TLM

So- by 2011 DCA will have 8 attractions already located in WDW

Not including the ground rides- that's a huge chunk of DCA's attractions.

Also, what's up with DL's TSI turning into Pirate Island? That's Walt era Disneyland GONE! It's mind boggling!

Edit-

JC - at least DL's JC animals move. Our JC was way better, again imo. The boats there were really cramped and I got a little sick from the way it moves. Ours has the temple which is a great experience. The scenes seem bigger, and the queue feels grander.

The boats are about the same size. The temple is cool but so are the piranhas. The skippers at DL seem to have a better attitude too.

The skipper's attitude seems the same to me, both are good, the boat just seemed more flimsy to me.

Isn't that all depending on what skipper you get? It's all luck.

Didn't feel like quoting. Long post.

HM - First off it's not longer(i have no idea where you gathered that) and DL's HM has new effects. DL's HM area is immersive and not tucked in a funneled corner where you have a great view of the show building. It deffinitly seems longer. It's much more imersive, I went in August so they may have updated since then but DL's really paled in comparison to WDW's. Madam Leota's head doesn't float, there's no attic scene, and things that are actually on WDW's ride are a part of the queue/ exit at DL. IMHO it deffinitly is a better experience because it builds up to it on the ride.

Oh you are so wrong on many things. First off, Leota does float, did you have your eyes open? There is an attic scene. (where do you think the hat box legend came from?) The queue for DL is much larger with a bigger cemetery and creepy iron fences.

I'm pretty positive that Leota didn't have a floating head. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_kOmKRhEgs It may have changed since then, I don't know.

Space - Experience wise, DL wins hands down. MK's does has the better coaster, but I don't usually care on a Disney attraction. Also MK's SM is laced strongly throughout tomorrowland, but that is slowly going away.

JC - at least DL's JC animals move. Our JC was way better, again imo. The boats there were really cramped and I got a little sick from the way it moves. Ours has the temple which is a great experience. The scenes seem bigger, and the queue feels grander.

TTA - DL doesn't even have a counter part....

Innoventions - DL is even challenging other parks. :ROFLOL:I don't know if your saying Innoventions is better at DL but it has a much larger space and more exhibits at Epcot. The exhibits at Epcot are almost like little tours, at DL they were just small exhibits.

Ones you didn't mention.

Splash - DL's is longer and has more than double AA in it's show scenes. Ours is more comfortable with 2 seaters, and i didnt notice more AA's.

Bench seating is just as comfortable as side by side. In the end the seating is preference based really.

Yeah but the seating seems more comfortable in WDW imho.

Small World - this is obvious. Ours still has more to look at.

 Your joking right? Seriously. The exterior is a Mary Blair masterpiece.

Lol no. I know the exterior is nice but that doesn't take away from the fact that there are scenes on both sides at WDW while at most DL scenes are on one side. And the queue has the facade that DL has.

Pirates - DL's is longer and the show scenes are much stronger. Besides, you don't have the cool little restaurant that watches the boats.

Indiana Jones -

Submarine - Oh wait that something MK doesn't have. Does this make up for it not having a TTA? The Seas with Nemo and Friends is just like this, only the experience is shorter which i think is better because it sort of drags on at DL.

 That's not a counterpart.

Pretty similar though.

Matterhorn - Baxter may have designed the original BTMRR, but the big man himself designed this one. Besides at least Harold works.
I love both resorts, but I'm going to give credit to the parks that deserve it. I only want the best for both parks, actually resorts at that.
I agree, I just think those rides I mentioned are still better at WDW. I respect your opinion so lets agree to disagree. :)

And Disneyland has rides that WDW no longer has, or never had to begin with, like...

Matterhorn Bobsleds
Indiana Jones Adventure
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes
Sailing Ship Columbia
Alice In Wonderland
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Pinnochio's Daring Journey
Sleeping Beauty Castle Tour

Lol yes I know, I was just pointing out good attractions WDW has that DL doesn't. Sailing Ship Columbia's pretty much a boat ride just like Mark Twain, so it's not that different.

Have you been in the upstairs portion of DL's queue with the boat house and stuff?

As far as I know it is not utilized anymore (at least when I went.) I do remember hearing faint background music (as well as seeing an animatronic vulture) but perhaps you are right. I'll look a bit more deeply into the upstairs queue.

It's used on busy days when the queue downstairs is filled, which also helps the queue from making its way in to an already tightly squeezed AL. If I remember correctly part of the upstairs is also used(rarely) as an overflow for Indy using the side closest to Indy. Its basically handled like when TSMM! uses its overflow. The Jungle building is also home to the Indy fastpass which is kinda odd but theres no more room in that land. As well as the Dominguez family palm tree.

Thank you for the insight! Their Adventureland does seem much, much too crowded.

For those that are interested, here's a (rough) sketch of where the construction walls will be for the project once it is underway. It seems there will be no direct access between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and those visiting "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" will enter through the sides of the facades rather than head-on, if this makes any sense; this also assumes if the ride will be open at all, though it will undergo a facade change as part of the expansion.

Will these walls all be put up at once and are you positive on it's location? I'm kind of surprised that they will be blocking off the existing dumbo right away, isn't that part of another phase? As well as the destruction of TTF?

I don't know the timeframe for the walls and if they will be put up in sections. The image I provided is where silt-fencing will be installed for the construction/demolition, and I assumed this is where the walls would go.

So this isn't to be added "all at once", but this is the overall picture of where the fence/walls will be going?

Sorry, I didn't see this question posted earlier. I would assume the walls are all going up at once (but I am not sure) but what the image said is where the walls will be going. Whether they are all going up at once or not, I do not know.

Is there a reason why the fourth section of the blueprints aren't there. Legit question, no sarcasm intended.

What fourth section?

Fourth section as in the bottom-right part of the blueprint.

And well, I heard the walls were going up during Spring of this year. But I'm not sure if they will just wall off ALL of that area, I think it will be walled off individually, as in sections.

There is no missing section of the blueprint. What was posted is in its entierty, minus the information blocks and other technical aspects of the blueprint itself.
