Why settle though, when you can have all three happen and lose nothing? If they are really gonna to put a show to go a long with the coaster and then put muppets in hop then I'm happy with their plan.
Because based on what the insiders are saying muppets are going in the next few years regardless. If that's the case then just do it now.Why settle though, when you can have all three happen and lose nothing?
If they saw the backlash from this time and a miracle happens where they pivot, what makes you think they’d say “ah well just do it again in a few years”Because based on what the insiders are saying muppets are going in the next few years regardless. If that's the case then just do it now.
Because they aren't going to pivot because of any backlash. They have their plans. If they want zootopia or the Simpsons in hs then its going to happen. If they saw the backlash from this time and a miracle happens where they pivot, what makes you think they’d say “ah well just do it again in a few years”
Not sure anyone else heard of a show also included with the coaster.
Do u believe it?As a side note, if you Believe the Zootopia/Simps double whammy, Simps would likely only break ground after 2028 when Uni loses them
I believe the Zootopia portion. Hesitant they're making plans this far out on Simpsons. Especially that soon after Uni loses them.Do u believe it?
I think it’s a mix - the tiki room is very popular so indoor shows can still be a hit.Do you think that’s because the weather in Florida or because they have less locals visiting the parks?
The original SWGE art was said to show the land going into the echo lake area replacing Sounds Dangerous/Stunt show/Parking Lot.Yeah I think this is a unique situation where we have conflicting concept art, and no official word on the direction they are going. There seems to be a lot more going on than is apparent from the outside.
2026 is when the next D23 is, and I would suspect we will get more news and concept art/ride names etc. for the already announced things. That seems reasonable.
That really leave 2026 as the wildcard year. While no major projects can be done by then, I think updates to Carousel of Progress and Journey to Imagination would fill in nicely for 2026.
Uni might give them up a year or two early actually. Rumor on the Universal front is they want to put Pokémon in the current Springfield area and they want it open 2030.As a side note, if you Believe the Zootopia/Simps double whammy, Simps would likely only break ground after 2028 when Uni loses them
Current word is that Uni is retheming or tearing down Rip Ride Rocket or whatever the name is before that and keeping Simps until the deal is upUni might give them up a year or two early actually. Could this be two tracks?Yes. I will be extremely disappointed if it needlessly replaces two popular attractions. In AC, it makes the park better. In Grand Ave, at best it’s a lateral move but perhaps even a downgrade if it’s really just one coaster that will inevitably break down a lot.
Change the location of the entrance/exit to the show and put up a monster's facade on one side? They do still intend to open Mermaid, which makes no sense…. Unless they some how reroute entrance / exit through One Mans Dream.
They're trying everything.
Yeah that’s the 2026 project. The current rumored timeline for them isCurrent word is that Uni is retheming or tearing down Rip Ride Rocket or whatever the name is before that and keeping Simps until the deal is up
