A guy who works in the animation building said his office is moving to another location on property. For those of use who are 16 hours behind, what did the tweet on pg 108 or so say? I just tried to look at it, and it had been deleted.
It faded because it was completely neglected. That tour was an easy way to advertise Disney IP that could quickly and easily be swapped out - so much wasted potential.Backlot Tour quickly faded out but it was a great time and certainly had a stronger identity than whatever is there now.
It closed for a temporary summer show and then never came back - it didn’t really close.Again, it was removed from Disneyland and nobody shed a tear. (Where were you THEN, Josh Gad?)
Was it? Everytime I’ve been there the cast has been begging people to come see the show.while Philharmagic was a hit coming in
Brian Henson and Frank Oz did an excellent job with Christmas Carol and a good job with Treasure Island. I thought muppets most wanted was hilarious as well. They need to find a way to reboot the muppets ip. I feel like ever since Jim Henson passed away muppets have never been the same and nothing has really lived up to the past quality of the muppets.
