Skip to 1:30 you can see the monorail broken
Wow, Express and the Ferries were down... that IS a mess...
They were transferring yellow out of service because apparently, it started smoking while in operation. For all we know they were taking or bringing a train on or off the system. There a just as many routine reasons for this as there are out of the ordinary. But thanks to the magic of the Internet everyone is now is an expert at everything.
Isn't there a DSA for monorails? They were transferring yellow out of service because apparently, it started smoking while in operation.

Designated Smoking AreaI don't know what a DSA is, but maybe they need a DNR.
You could be right but I have been monitoring it since day one, when the whole train was hanging out. And as the weeks have passed I've noticed it inching in. I don't recall that happening with the others but that doesn't mean it didn't. I think I'm just paying closer attention to red because of all the excitement. It may have had nothing to do with the door incident or they may have just moved up red in line because of the incident..... Either way they've been working on all the trains on that exact same spot. It started with blue, then went to Orange, yellow and gold have also been done recently. After red returns a train not listed on this post will be next.
See the thread titled Monorail Orange.
That is where the paint booth is. Red is just about finished with its full repaint. There is only enough room in the booth for one car at a time, and that is why you keep seeing it inch forward by about 60 feet. When it's done it will return to service and another train will go in its place and do the same thing. You could be right but I have been monitoring it since day one, when the whole train was hanging out. I did notice it happening to the others. As they repaint each car they re position the train. Once the train is fully inside, it is then fully painted and almost ready to be returned to service. You could be right but I have been monitoring it since day one, when the whole train was hanging out. Actually Coral was Epcot only while it had the Tron wrap. There were times where it would do Express runs when going in and out of service. I know towards the end they had it on resort for at least a day...The wrap was on there for a long time. But monorail coral was not on the Epcot beam while the wrap was on.
Ole red is still on the beam at the round house. Over the course of days/weeks/ months since the inccedent it has slowly been inching its way inside the round house. Now the nose of the lead car is barely sticking out. This to me indicates it is getting attention. I'm wondering when we will see it out there again.
Yes, I believe Red was the next one to get the TLC that Orange received. It may have had nothing to do with the door incident or they may have just moved up red in line because of the incident..... Thanks you are correct. Somehow I miss understood which wrap we were discussing. I was thinking the avengers wrap.Actually Coral was Epcot only while it had the Tron wrap. Lol I got all confused about what was going on and just decided to stay silent. Thanks you are correct. Somehow I miss understood which wrap we were discussing. I was thinking the avengers wrap.
Absolutely correct. Many parts of the monorail beam are disgusting and in
desperate need of cleaning. Honestly the same could be said for many parts of WDW today.

I can check tonightIn a video posted on Facebook yesterday (and confirmed that the footage was taken yesterday), monorail red out was on the resort beam. Has anyone else seen red out in the last day or so?
Don’t use my posts to support your drivel.Fortunately that only affects the guests, the reduced cleanliness and maintenance have greatly benefited TWDC's real Customer Wall Street

That's a negative. Red is finished with paint, but now is being reassembled. I would expect another 2 weeks before we see red running around. Somebody probably just got coral or orange confused with the lower lighting. In a video posted on Facebook yesterday (and confirmed that the footage was taken yesterday), monorail red out was on the resort beam.
