Hey reality sucks, Disney's customer is not the guest paying 100 bucks a day it's Wall Street and every negative trend at Disney parks is directly related to that.
Like I said don’t use my posts for your drivel.

Very little of what you say has anything to do with reality.

In this case what you are speaking of is not entirely false (rare for you) but is not really a Disney specific problem so much as a cultural shift in corporate America as a whole. You could replace Disney’s with the name of nearly every other publicly traded company. The focus does need to shift back to the product.

Well, since the event triggering this thread was months ago, and discussion has devolved into the internet message board equivalent of "stop touching me!", maybe it's time to close it and move on...?

Or, as our favorite IP would put it...

Does anyone know when coral is going in for its repaint? Perhaps they'll also do a strip down of the entire train like red. It seems to be the monorail having the most problems at the moment.

Not sure which train is next. Coral needs the paint, Teal needs paint and windshield replacements, however I'm hoping for lime since it is going to be coming back out with the blue deltas.

That would be great (about Lime)! I used to always scratch away at the white paint to slowly reveal little bits of the blue underneath. Always hated that decision to remove the blue, both from a safety and historical perspective.

It's coming back with the blue deltas? Wow! Interesting news. Is there reasoning behind why they're doing this?

Disneyland's monorail beam is about 20 years older than than most of Orlando's and is much better condition, does it use a different system because it can't all be down to weather when it's 20 years older.

I disagree it is in better condition. The sagging between posts makes the monorail feel like a carousel horse. Up and down and up and down .

The beams are different. Land's are not as wide as world's, land's also have a shorter distance between posts, a different electrical system attached, much tighter turns at land, and worlds are more hollow but stronger due to newer technology (59 vs 71).

Correct me if I'm wrong but, if i'm correct, Disneyland actually has a vehicle that they use to clean the beam.

not sure if anyone else was at the parks on 3/18/18, but express was shutdown around 3pm for a little while, had 2 trains pass TPC after they unloaded them.

It was for an item dropped in the trough.
Not sure it has been reported but Monorail Red was on the Epcot line today. Not sure when it exactly came back out since the incident.
Its been out for about 2 weeks now.
