Minor ToT updates

- A new exterior lighting system is being installed and is almost done. The new spotlights (which I assume are LED) are MUCH brighter than the old ones, and the building now will glow REALLY bright at night, much like DCA's Tower.

THIS is the best news I've heard all day!
:sohappy: :D

Many thanks for the wonderful news!

I think this is great news. The dim lights on the building right now contrasted against the bright sign make it too easy to blow the highlights when photographing the building (or perhaps I don't know what I'm doing...)

Can't wait to see how it looks!

Good to know that my top 2 WDW rides are begin kept in good shape.

Nice to know that at least 1 WDW park is getting upgrades on a regular basis (still waiting to hear about plans for F! and GMR and hoping other construction will resume soon).

Just thought that I'd contribute to the thread.

Work has begun on a complete overhaul to the theming of the attraction from The Twilight Zone to a more... Disney approach.

The new name will be "Can Donald Escape From The Tower?" (Yes, an open ended question much like WWYC?) and will be a "Mind bending adventure through a spooky, haunted tower, where anything goes."

Guests will see video screens showing the lovable character, Stitch, as he wreaks havoc on the elevator cables.

Included in each vehicle will be 21 touch screens, which allow guests to "Choose their fear." The drop sequence will be taken out completely, and will instead be a slow moving return to the bottom of the hotel as elevator guests watch cartoons of themself being scared in ways that they have chosen!
