The cottage's best vantage point would be from the front of the entire attraction which is still behind walls, for now you can only see glimpses of it at weird angles from the viewing areas! But the walls around it are down.

Yes, that is the clearance test jig.

This is a section of the ride I don't remember seeing before. Can't quite figure out where this is.

I'd imagine (just a guess) that this would be the brake section directly before unload, wouldn't it?

Yep it is, it had walls behind it before, the cottage is just off to the left.

From the overhead photos I've seen, it looks like it will be roughly across from Storybook Treats (which is near Winnie the Pooh), not far inside the "castle walls" around/through which you walk to enter New Fantasyland.

I hope they fix the fact that Grumpy's facial features look like they are skipping. Looks pretty cool though

Those animatronics are amazing... the movement and the faces look incredible. After see this short video I can't wait to see what other animatronics could be stored inside.
