Mine Ride Construction Update

I think it's mostly about the speed of the cars (which looks much faster than it will be) and the swaying motion (the cars look to be swaying in places where they likely wont be during the ride).
people can rock the cars themselves, no? Even when going straight.

Looks like the steps were extended as well as the railings moved further away. I thought the ride had an arm radius extending all around during walk through testing during main construction before all the decor and crap was added?

I remember seeing the weight/water dummy testing but I'm pretty sure we saw the above also. Maybe plans changed or it wasn't built with proper measurements the first time 'round?

Excited to see humans riding it, regardless. That's certainly a good sign.

I think the "video", if you wanna call it that, is pretty misleading.
I know, seriously. It implies that only gems are allowed to ride and not people.

Going one week from today, praying for a possibility of a soft opening!!
Fingers crossed for you. I know how you feel.

When we visited Nov. 9-18/2012, NFL was in preview only. We were able to get in 3 of the 4 times we tried, and even scored a walk-up early dinner at BoG. I was beyond thrilled.

I hope you get to experience that same giddy feeling.
