What is the pink shaded area?

If your talking about the pinkish/light purple area on the bottom near Winnie the Pooh, thats the queue area.

Just a side note, but can someone who has the original of this stretch (by itself) send it to me. Thank You!

Here a picture of that same area from the model.

Now that we all know that NFL was built with Next-Gen in mind, and fast pass machine won’t be needed very soon, what is this tent for? Merchandise, DVC, just a place to sit and relax?

I'm under the assumption that the current FP locations are going to be converted into kiosks for managing FP+ for those who do not have smartphones, etc and need to make changes or look up reservations in the park. The space is already allocated for FP, so it would make sense to just replace them with new/different machines for the new functionality.

So, having a FP+ kiosk could certainly be a use for that location.

I hope it's a quick serve location.

Think "Ursula's Calamari Cauldron" or "Flounder's 'Bits o Flounder' Inappropriately Named Fish Fry"

Or better yet, DVC. I love free fast passes for non committal timeshare meetings.

It goes in and out of the mountain like EE, but obviously the mine scenes will be under cover.

I was specifically referring to the load/unload platform, but yes, the AA scenes will definitely be indoors, with much of the ride also being outdoors.

I am pretty sure this picture shows an indoor load/unload area. The pictures is looking into it from the end.

Indeed!

They are probably still being built at the Garner-Holt factory. I'm pretty sure all WDI does is program them for movements and what not.

Right - similar to the Dinosaur vehicles.

Yeah, pink would be queue. Is this the version @Lee drew?

And I'm fairly certain that tent is for DVC.

I believe you are correct, regarding the existing FP ticket dispensers being replaced with the interactive kiosks. They'll just remove the current machines and mount new ones in the same place. They will likely be similar to the touch screen QS ordering kiosks.

It only makes sense, given that all the power and network cabling is already there. All they have to do is swap out a machine or two at a time, as they gradually get away from FP 1.0. Besides, it would cost a lot of money to actually get rid of the old FP locations. But then again, I wouldn't put it past TDO to just remove the machines and put in some benches and call it a D-Zone!

That is a decent size drop, but nothing too crazy. As @edwardtc said hopefully there is a little more meat to this ride than just pretty theming and a nice drop. I would certainly hope for fairly extensive AAs during the show scenes. This will definately become a favorite ride in the park due to the mild thrill but for all demographics. I could see this at least lowering lines for Pinnochio.

If this new coaster reduces wait times for a ride in Disneyland, I will be EXTREMELY impressed ;)

Starting to look like the drops might actually have a tiny bit of kick to them. Predictions appear to be right - far more "intense" than Barnstormer, but nothing near BTMRR.

I think the swinging cars will add to the effect as well.

I just hope they pause or slow the trains during some of the scenes so that it makes for more than a 1:30 ride after what will almost certainly be a 2 hour+ wait.

It'll be only a few minutes for me, as I'll be using FP, as I often do. As a matter of fact, I think with FP+, I can go online and book it now. I can plan my day 350 days out can't I? ;)

I still think using the Matterhorn is a good comp in terms of level of thrill. 7DMT won't be as fast, but the swaying will increase the "intensity". Matterhorn is still a rather mild coaster and tolerable for young children, but isn't a "kiddie coaster" at all.
