Very wishful.I saw some say early 2019. I guess they're wishful thinkers
The original plan was more or less at the same time as Star Wars Land. That's the plan.Just before SWL opens or is it up in the air when the opening date might be???
What would make any leftover space not suitable? Not enough room for anything or the way M&MRR is laid out?Any leftover space would not be suitable for using.
Separate load and unload are already planned.
It’ll be at the other end of the building from load / unload. What would make any leftover space not suitable? Not enough room for anything or the way M&MRR is laid out?
I've read (here) that the ride system will be similar, but the visuals will be in a completely different style.OK, so we were fortunate to have our kids take us to Tokyo Disney. Could this new ride be in anyway comparable to Pooh? If so, it's great!

The attractions concept is that you are attending a screening of a Mickey Mouse short in which you are sucked into the screen, wherein the rest of the attraction happens. I’d assume the theme was chosen so that it would continue to work with the facade. While it is much more cost effective to keep the facade, dismantling the centerpiece of the park while guests are still in it would be very ugly (reminder of the mess the BAH dismantling was), it would also be more time consuming.Has it been addressed why the Chinese Theater facade was chosen to remain? Budget conscious I take it?
Good call, makes sense. And also the Chinese Theater perfectly fits the whole front side of the parkThe attractions concept is that you are attending a screening of a Mickey Mouse short in which you are sucked into the screen, wherein the rest of the attraction happens. I’m very happy about it as well. I mean to get complicated it technically would never be at the end of sunset blvd but to “The Hollywood that Never Was and always Will Be”.And also the Chinese Theater perfectly fits the whole front side of the park
We're lucky they're not changing it

I’m sorry I made the mistake. I knew the quote and thought it was wrong but it was 1amMichael Eisner is rolling in his swimming pool. It's "The Hollywood that never was -- and always will be."

No.The concept of being sucked into the screen, seems to mimic the theater setting of Universe of Energy, just before the sections break apart and move into the dinosaur diorama. Maybe they plan on repurposing those ride vehicles?
All it needs is the eyes and mouth.
