I actually have an idea to appease everyone.

Now this is going to sound weird but get rid of Muppet Vision

Use the Muppet Vision space to build the great muppet movie ride that was going to be built.

This appeases the people who liked GMR and also people who want family rides.

I know this will never happen but it’s an idea

Is Oswald anywhere on the ride?

I think he’s referenced briefly? It was hard to get a good look and make it out. In the carnival room, there’s a “hall of mirrors” to the far right. There’s sketchy poster advertisements on the exterior that I believe are Oswald but might also be a “stretched” mirror Mickey. Or maybe that in itself is supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek reference to how Mickey was designed after Oswald?

....woah you are the first to mention the bird (heard he was a break out character) but haven't heard much of what he does....and “electrocuted seats” first we have heard of them. Looks like this ride has surprises we don’t know about. This POV can’t come soon enough.

(one of my favorite shorts)

As for the whistling theme it’s at 3:31 (in the above video) and is played at the end of almost every short.

Excited to hear “Nothing is going to stop us now” even if repetitive. Really want some good video of the preshow as well.

I definitely don’t remember electrocuted seats from my ride through.

I will always miss The Great Movie Ride, but if this happened I would be very, VERY happy.

Too bad that I think you're right that it's not even on their radar.

EDITED To Add: By this I meant the addition of the Muppet Movie Ride. I personally have no desire to see Muppet Vision close. THAT would make me sad. But the Muppet Movie Ride seems like such a fantastic no-brainer for that park.

I actually want to clarify: I have no desire to see Muppet Vision close either.

But when you think about it’s the only way this would work. Here is why:

- Galaxy’s Edge is right next to it, and their is an expansion pad nearby (I’m actually not sure where it is) but it stands to reason their isn’t much room between Muppets and Galaxy’s Edge unless Star Tours went and they expand the other way.

-Using the fingerprint of Muppet Vision (plus some of the surrounding area) they may have a room for a e-ticket as that area with Mama Melrose is decently sized.

-We know that Disney isn’t updating the movie of Muppet Vision and it’s really showing it’s age...this gets us a new muppets presence in the park. I love Muppetvision but if this starts a resurgence that I’m good with sacrifice. As long as Muppets stays in the parks.

Oh and EDIT: I’m fully behind Runaway Railway taking over so far, but I want to judge it for myself first (super excited to see the POV).

Muppet Vision is safe from Galaxy's Edge expansion if for no other reason than that they would have to rip out and reroute the expensive rockwork queue of Rise of the Resistance in order to access the Muppet plot from within GE. I won't say for certain that Muppets is safe from harm, but it won't be death by lightsaber. Unless they move the Gateway to Galaxy's Edge closer to Baseline Tap House, which would also be expensive AND force them to close the main entry to the land while the work was done.

My guess is that we'd sooner see them turn the Muppets plot into something else, not Star Wars-related . . . but they did also just offer Muppets a little refurb to fix things up a little. Which doesn't automatically mean they wouldn't close it, but it inspires a little hope.

But still, add a Muppet Movie Ride to the park and they'd have my money day one.

Muppets deserve more anyway...but I did forget about the muppet vision refurb

I have never seen a "spoilers" thread with so little spoilers. So back to Muppet talk.
In fairness, it's still a very select group of people who have ridden it. Surely the floodgate will open in the coming days.

I'll be in WDW on the 4th and have the intention of riding Runaway Railway that day - wish me luck - I'll be sure to report back with my spoiler-filled thoughts if I do.
