Got to see this today with some show issues. Witnessed a broken preshow, a prolonged stop in the carnival, a broken projector in the underwater scene, and a frozen Daisy animatronic.
...how did the broken preshow run? Was the screen already blown up when you got in? How did you like the ride as a whole if you could overlook those issues.
The broken preshow was a test so this might not become the actual procedure, but yes the screen was already blown up. While waiting in the part of the queue that’s past the merge point, the CM spieled that we SHOULD have gone into a movie theater but Goofy had other plans and that we would be going into the cartoon instead. And then you enter the preshow room with the screen already blown out and the CM there says something to the same effect to explain why we’re entering a train barn.

I just hope, they don’t skip preshows (just like they rarely do it at Rise)
You'd think a broken projector is a valid reason to close the ride. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
At least here and unlike Rise, MMRR has two independent preshow rooms. So it would really take both rooms going down before they would ever have to make the call about whether they have to sacrifice the preshow to keep the ride still running. I do belive there is a pathway between both preshows so perhaps there is still a way to load vehicles even if both preshow rooms get stuck without the blown-out openings, but hopefully it never comes to that.
Overall review of the ride? (If you could overlook the show problems).
Boy do I wish they still did something ,like that with DHS.If I recall Toontown/Maroon Studios was suppose to be on Sunset Blvd where RnRc stands. This is why you see the Billboard by Echo lake.
Two of the attractions would have been Baby Herman's Runaway Buggy Coaster and Roger's Toontown Trolley simulator
I doubt it would happen ,but if they got rid of the whole building that RNrc is at and use other areas near there of the park, they could have a pretty big toontown area .It could even have like 5 or 6 attractions.More Jessica Rabbit is always a good thing.

"Oh, and we're closing two existing at the same time"If this were to actually happen, there is a 99% chance this would follow:
Announcement: “We’re going to add six new attractions to HS!”
A few months later: “Actually we’re only going to add 2 for now. The other 4 will be future expansions that will happen 25 years in the future”
I’ve already ridden more than a handful of times so it’s hard to gauge because this time around I was specifically looking for issues (lots of exposed ceilings like the old GMR building, some projectors are far too visible), but overall still fun. Definitely keep expectations low. 100% can guarantee it will get better reception on the west coast as a Toontown addition.
Sounds like you would fit perfectly in the Imagineering side of the forumsI actually have an idea to appease everyone.
Now this is going to sound weird but get rid of Muppet Vision
Use the Muppet Vision space to build the great muppet movie ride that was going to be built.
This appeases the people who liked GMR and also people who want family rides.
I know this will never happen but it’s an idea

Two more questions (sorry for all of them).
1.) Can you confirm that in the first 9 seconds of that clip (before you go into the tunnel) 1st scene of the ride with the dappers that they are singing the attraction theme?
2.) Is the “whistling theme” of the Mickey shorts in the end?
1) Yeah, the main song is “nothing can stop us now” and is pretty repetitive. The part you hear in the video is pretty much played on a loop ad nauseum on the loading dock. It’s cute but I’m sure those poor CMs will tire of it quickly.
2) Unfortunately I don’t have much experience with the cartoons so I’m genuinely not sure what that theme sounds like and if I watched a video right now I wouldn’t be able to place if the song was one I’d heard in the ride. I was too distracted by the bird at the end of the ride and the “electrocuted” seats.
Now this is going to sound weird
