Hmm...I dont think any of the stations in the Tri~State area do 24/7 Christmas music. Its usually interspersed thru the day, up till about a week before, then it gets heavier play, till Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. By then its usually all day Christmas music.

I usually have cds on anyhow.

Favorite Christmas albums/cds? Anyone?

I like Now Thats What I Call Christmas. Its a 2~cd set and it covers just about every great Christmas song out there. I also like listening to the Nutcracker Suite, Handels Messiah, and my (now dont laugh) John Tesch Christmas cds, Family Christmas and Romantic Christmas. I dont know why, because I am NOT a Tesch fan! But those two cds, I like. Oh, and the soundtrack from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Gotta have my Holly Jolly Christmas! :sohappy:

WHUD (100.7) does all Christmas, but not till a couple of days before. Just saw on tv - 102.7 all holiday music, all day.

Favorite Christmas CD's: Home For Christmas by Amy Grant
When My Heart Finds Christmas by Harry Connick, Jr
Because Its Christmas by Barry Manilow
and of course my Jim Brickman The Gift and his new one Peace.

I love Rosemary Clooney's recording of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" - and the Canadian Brass' Christmas album (especially "The Angel Choir and the Trumpeter")!

We need some caroling in here!

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas
Let your hearts be light
From now on, our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
From now on, our troubles will be miles away

Here we are as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more

Through the years we all will be together
If the fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.

I finally got some Christmas decorations last night so guess what I am going to be doing to my apartment when I get home from work.

:D

I'm telling you, this Christmas season just seems to be getting better and better. I get a tree next week and I will be a very festive person.

And my favorite Christmas songs (I only have the Return 2 Zero Christmas album) are One Small Child (any arrangment) and Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Carol of the Bells.

Tonight the stars shine for the children
and light the way for dreams to fly
tonight our love comes wrapped in ribbons
the world is right
and hopes are high
and from a dark
and frosted window
a child appears
to search the sky
because it's Christmas
because it's Christmas
tonight belongs to all the children
tonight their joy rings through the air
and so we send our tender blessings
to all the children everywhere
to see the smiles and hear the laughter
a time to give
a time to share
because it's Christmas
for now and forever
for all of the children
and for the children in us all
tonight belongs to all the children
tonight their joy rings through the air
and so we send our tender blessings
to all the children everywhere
to see the smiles and hear the laughter
a time to give
a time to share
because it's Christmas
for now and forever
for all of the children
and for the children in us all

Children carry through the streets
A brilliant painted star
Angels gather ‘round the hearth
Strumming on guitars
Men of great renown and faith
Say prayers on boulevards
It’s the night before Christmas

But you don’t have to be an angel
To sing harmony
And you don’t have to be a child
To love the mystery
And you don’t have to be a wise man
On bended knee
The heart of this Christmas is in you and me

The night before Christmas
The night before Christmas

If you’re heart’s been longing
And you’ve been afraid to try
Sorrow’s kept you company
And the dance has passed you by
I’ll lift you up and blaze with you
Across the moonlit sky
On the night before Christmas

‘Cause you don’t have to be an angel
To sing in harmony
And you don’t have to be a child to love the mystery
And you don’t have to be a wise man
On bended knee

The heart of this Christmas is in you and me
The heart of this Christmas is in you and me

The night before Christmas
The night before Christmas

Carol of the Bells is a GREAT one! We used to do this in my high school glee club. One of the few songs we did that sounded good!
