I don’t think the fake applause is new….. maybe just mixed a little too loud?
I did read something to do with efficiency (albeit bad show). Fantasyland was actually open last week to compensate for Main St being closed during the Christmas tree removal. I think last time I saw Discoveryland open was late 2021.Does anyone know what’s happening with the Fantasyland and Discoveryland Stations? They’ve been closed for years now (I think) and they don’t even appear as "under refurbishment" anymore like they used to. They’ve just been completely erased from the DLP app.
The trains in Paris have a pretty unique and inefficient way of loading - they spend lots of time at the station.Does anyone know what’s happening with the Fantasyland and Discoveryland Stations? So far Paris won’t pay for the expensive to maintain ride system (even the Tokyo system)They should duplicate whatever they're doing with Indy in Florida and send half of it to Paris.
I personally really enjoyed the Buzz part, I guess it's one of the scenes more affected with the lack of drones. The huge Zorg head in the sky is amazing!Just got back from 2 days at the parks including the privatized evening on Wednesday. Will post thorough thoughts eventually, but we did see the new nighttime show twice, unfortunately twice on b-mode (no drones). Even then, honestly great show. The only thing I wasn't into too much was the Buzz Lightyear battle with Zorg, maybe a bit too much Encanto, but even then there was no bad moments. I've immediately watched a video of what it looks like with drones and looking forward to eventually see it in its full glory. I think it's a strong successor to the previous ones. The crowd definitely agreed, so did my companions on the trip. The addition of sky tracers was fun when you're in the center hub and they all point to above you. Main streets projections definitely a plus and it helped spread the crowds evenly.
In summary: Very nice!
They’ll probably (hopefully) stick to the Americana theme of the other hotels. There were plans of a New Orleans Hotel and a Las Vegas Hotel for Paris which could both be reused now. I’d prefer the New Orleans one since Port Orleans at WDW is really beautiful and a Las Vegas Hotel could easily look very tacky and cheap. What a way to announce a new hotel! Any idea on a theme?
Could it be an interpretation of one of wdw's deluxe resorts. What a way to announce a new hotel! Any idea on a theme?
I hope that if they build a new hotel they keep the American theme, since all Disney hotels I. Paris are American themed. A Hawaiian hotel with Lilo and Stitch themed rooms would be amazing, but it would be harder to integrate the Disney Village expansion. A New Orleans hotel with Tiana would be easier to integrate. What a way to announce a new hotel! Any idea on a theme?
Current rumours from some reputable sources have been saying for awhile now that a part of the current plans for Adventureland Phase 2, a project planned since the resort's opening but one that has gone through many iterations, is to remove the aging Indy looping coaster that soon will need either a retrack or removal, and replace it (and expand into existing expansion space) with an Indiana Jones' Adventure. They should duplicate whatever they're doing with Indy in Florida and send half of it to Paris.
