I have spotted the coyote at DLP!!! On merch….
I wasn’t saying you were wrong… just pointing out that theming on its own is impractical by definition. But we won't agree as I'm sure I'm going to be wrong.
I've always wondered if the partners statue had been created a few years earlier, would Paris hub be completey redesigned? With the current design with stages in the middle of the hub, there isn't the same space as there is for the Partners statue at the other castle parksMartin - off topic but why is there no partners statue in the Disneyland Park?
It seems like there is space now but maybe I’m under estimating how much room the statue and planter take up.With the current design with stages in the middle of the hub, there isn't the same space as there is for the Partners statue at the other castle parks
I forget now. There’s a reason it went into the studios (currently in storage mind)Also…. The fog effects on the lift hill were missing…. Maybe the coyote drank the fog juice and died?

Is that the same issue in California? - joking of courseThe C lift smoke has issues they’re still working on. The Ln2 is stored on the mainland and pumped under the water. Blockages are an issue.
I do know Cali uses more traditional smoke type machines (though curiously and thankfully not water based - guess they learnt their lessons)Is that the same issue in California? - joking of course
I wish they could have a theatrical haze machine for b mode - would make a big difference.
DLP shared a little preview of the Disney Main Street, U.S.A. projections for Disney Tales of Magic - the new nighttime show launching Jan 10.
Sometimes it works…. The best use of it so far is Tree of Life in my opinion.Still hate projections. To my eyes, they are ugly and out-of-place.
What is it about projecting images onto surfaces never meant to be projected on that makes people fall madly in love with the silly concept? And Disney is SO enamored with projections onto surfaces not meant to be projected on, it's ridiculous.
This started with Dreams in 2012. It was designed to run without pyro and/or fountains depending on the weather. Prior to this it was all or nothing. One big benefit is it allows them to have a show in bad weather. Last night at Paris they couldn’t fly drones or shoot pyro…. But the projections allowed them to have the shows.
