News Magic Kingdom and Epcot Fireworks to Resume July 1st

I had to give that a Google. Just seems like two random dates with nothing else to back it up? We'll be there that week so of course my interest is especially high in all these rumors. Killing me here, smalls.

They wouldn't test without an actual announcement would they? That'd be so cruel. Imagine you're chilling at HS and then MK randomly has a fireworks show- ensue stampede.

With Disney slowly getting rid of distancing markers, and changing their mask rules this week, I strongly believe something is gonna happen.

3) I'm assuming I know what "the site" is, but may I ask why everyone hates them? (not trying to add fuel to a fire here, just genuinely curious.) And are there any more sites we can't name?

1. Yes, very likely they didn't plan on a 4th of July fireworks because they had to make the decision back when they though there would be distancing all Summer.

2. Yes, lots of signs and our insiders are zeroing in on the beginning of July.

3. "The Site" is one by a Mr. Corless (Google will find it). Bad blood in the past between this site and that. Not to mention he's notorious for not being nice and never admitting a mistake and breathlessly reporting breaking rumors that weren't true. Disney implied he was unscrupulous. He declared war on Disney. Fun times.

4. Kenny doesn't really have inside access. Tho, he had the been the go-to site for all things Meet & Greet.

5. Dunno.

I thought when July was greenlighted there was no time to go back to Celebrate America and Epcot's Tag?


The UOR YT Stream I watched last night must have gotten the info from Kenny and thought Kenny got it from Parks Blog somehow.....(It happened in chat during CineCele no less! LOL!) It's weird though, the site that did the YT Stream last night basically tweeted Fri night that Fireworks are back in early July with no Question Mark. I know the rumor is very strong and that's wonderful but shouldn't we be using Question Marks until DPB chimes in??

I wouldn’t say there was no time. Just that they didn’t order those fireworks. They never intended to have special July 4 pyro.

Depends on the source and how sure they are. In this case Disney has informed their employees of their plans so while a change is certainly still possible it’s very unlikely.
