Wow! I thought that most schools were done with their spring breaks. Is this a holdover from Easter, or are a lot of schools still out, or both?

MK also closed on Thursday. I was there and it was just insane. They ran out of strollers at 10am and around 1 the wait for Big Thunder and Splash was 2 hours...times like these when I love Fastpass...a lot.

Some schools let out the week before Easter some the week after. When I was in school here in Jacksonville the public schools were out the week before and the private schools took the following week.

Here in Tennessee the county we live in is out NEXT week and the county where I work is out this week. I know some nearby counties had been out last week and there are a few that will not be out until the 2nd week of April.

EMH are at the Magic Kingdom every day this week at 7:00am and the park opens for all of the public at 8:00am instead of the usual 9:00am, closes at midnight until Saturday. Tommorow night they're also having an EMH for the MK from midnight to 3:00am.

I'm going to be at the MK first thing at 8:00am on Thursday... wish me luck! :hammer:

well, it's a good thing I've been avoiding the parks like the plague. I don't need to subject myself to that kind of torture

Time for a new ride says I.
Impressive attendance, but guest satsifaction will eventually be negative if Disney doesn't find a solution to the wait times and huge crowds. What is that I hear? Villian Mountain, high capacity? What? Where?

*hint hint* :p

Here in New York, my son does not have spring break until

the week of 4/18. We are heading to Ft. Meyers that week are
driving because airfare to Florida that week is $400/person for
a direct flight! With stopovers it is $300/person.

We will go nowhere neer Disney that week.

Wow, I'm every bit as shocked as everyone else  But I agree with the statement that perhaps these are people that thought it would be empty by now

Gotta love fastpass during these times :D

WDW peak crowds for spring break are the two weeks before and after Easter. This four week period is when the overwhelming number of high schools and colleges have their spring breaks. The strongest weeks are usually the weeks before and after Easter sunday. Numbers won't really start to decline until after April 10.

Usually. :D
