I'm glad to here that! I couldn't imagine living somewhere else because our lifestyle is so unique. Not having access to:
crawfish, oysters, shrimp, festivals, Mardi Gras, and going 'down the bayou' to hear those wonderful t(h)ick Cajun accents.

Well here in Ohio we have shrimp and oysters and we have a few resteraunts that serve cajun food and they have crawfish, I for one won`t eat them though! EWWW! LOL!

:p I`m sorry, those crawfish just look so gross! LOL! Heck I`m Italian and I wont eat Calamari cause just the thought of eating Squids tentacles gives me the heebie geebies! :lol:

Don't knock it 'til you try it!;) Heck, I even stick my finger in the heads to scoop all of the stuff out. (The leftover boiled crawfish are delicious in an omelette) and there's nothing like ____*______*ing a sack of oysters in the backyard and eating half of them raw. And it's fun to go to the Bonnet Carre Spillway and drop the nets for crawfish. And when #1 crabs are running....:slurp:

Darrel, do you like spicy food? We boil everything with Zatarains. I've actually tried crawfish from people from England who wanted to boil it themselves and they didn't put any seasoning in the pot:hurl: . I even boil small red potatoes in crab boil when I make potato salad to 'kick it up a notch'.

Oh man...the seafood around here is so bland. I had some boiled shrimp the other day and they didn't even put any salt in the water. What a waste of good shrimp!

Guys I am really really trying to get my dh to move back to Louisiana His best friend from childhood works at a casino in coushatta and is trying to get him to move too .I love Crawfish Darrel you are just plain weird becuse Crawfish are just mini lobsters I could go for crawfish ettoufee right now yummy
