Nobody should be exposed to watching any team from Mississippi. That's punishment enough.

Dear LSU Student,

Congratulations, you are one of the lucky BCS National Championship Student
ticket lottery winners!

You are required to pick up your ticket in person at the Louisiana
Superdome Box Office (Located at the Gate A Ground Level of the Superdome
on Poydras St.) beginning at 9:00AM on Sunday, January 4, 2004. You can
pick up your ticket anytime between 9:00AM and the end of the first quarter
of the Sugar Bowl. You must bring your valid LSU student I.D. and a second
form of identification. Due to hightened security at the Superdome, we
cannot assign tickets on a first come, first serve basis. Important: The
first person in line will not get first row tickets. There is no reason to
camp out. Tickets will be given out in random row order when you come to
the box office. If you wish to sit with another student that won the
lottery, you must pick your tickets up together on January 4th.

If you are unwilling to follow this procedure, or no longer want your Sugar
Bowl student ticket, you must come to the ticket office in person between
Tuesday December 15 and Friday December 19 and formally request a refund.
You cannot transfer this ticket to anyone, including another valid LSU
student. If you request a refund, your ticket will be given to another full
time LSU student who entered the student lottery.

On a related note, I hate this state I've lived in for 20 years and can't wait to leave when I graduate!
