Kind of a thinning out that they obviously hope won`t be noticed.
:(

Only the retentive will...LOL..You know ,the ones that notice paint chipping on the bottom corner of a trashcan in Magic kingdom!!! (not saying I've never noticed little things, just using an example)...LOL

Got to say between you and Pumbas Nakasak I look forward to reading what ever you two posts!

It would make no sense for MK to close at 7pm in addition to the nights it's already closing early as there would be a lot of unhappy guests. I doubt this will happen.

I`ll add to what boo52 says; shows are not being reduced in numbers. There are however plans to reduce the ammount of shells in the regular show. As I understand it not to remove sections, but not to use as many is parts where many are used at the same time. Kind of a thinning out that they obviously hope won`t be noticed.

I also understand Hellfire is cut again from HalloWishes `09 :(

That's pretty bad too, IMHO.:( When does this start?....Not soon, I hope?:lookaroun:lol:

I notice those things. Then again, I expect certain shells to open at a certain time and a certain place so i can get the pictures that i want.

Disney has been cutting alot of stuff to less nights, have they? I always liked Wishes, but it would be really dissapointing if they cut some shells (eliminating) :(

I have now heard that from two others, including yourself.
Considering this is what they've been doing with RoE for much of this year (look for more ... or is that less?), I'm pretty certain now that is the direction they may take.

Even though I'll be checking out DL's new Halloween pyro show (love that you don't have to pay a second time or hang out at a hotel to see it!), I don't agree with what they're doing at WDW.

Much better to have a kick-a$$ show performed on staggered basis than have a butchered show playing nightly.

Of course, whether this should be done at all with attendance holding steady in these awful times is another subject!

I wouldn't expect it'll ever come back.

I'm thinking RoE is still suffering from manufacturer's shortages, or has just had a change in pyro.

Seeing that it's sponsored and has contracts with the merch companies, I would think that it's doing ok. Recent reports have showed that the show is running well, and even in synch!

I don't. I think those were convenient excuses tossed out to 'splain why the show looked so godawful earlier this year.

And last month, other than July 4th, it clearly wasn't itself ...

And why aren't you at WDW already?:)

I'm not seeing it....Vids from all shows from all parts of the year look fine.

Other than that, the only issue looks to be the show getting in synch....which, as we have seen is being corrected.

Gimmie a day...:D

RoE was just about perfect in June. Only problem was the timing with the Octopi in Celebration. And based on videos I have seen of the show taken this month, it is absolutely fine. I might see it again live next week.

I wouldn't say the show looked awful but there were some manufacture changes resulting in different product, sometimes for the better. But they are all back to normal, with the exception of the hemisphere shells, which I hope do not revert back to their original product.

They were not "convenient excuses". They were truth. There continue to be problems from suppliers and the shipping industry itself. Wishes just ordered a hell of a lot larger shells just in case transportation issues arise in the near future preventing them from getting here. China is in the process of overhauling its transportation safety ratings meaning that the large 10 inch shells used in Wishes can become scarce.

Bet It'll feel like a week. :D
Yep....I've finished a book today(leaving nothing for the ride up...) and have taken to pacing. Funnnnn....:dazzle::lol:
I know.... it`s my birthday the end of November so that was a major factor in planning the 2nd trip.
Ah, gotcha!:D Have fun!

Good to hear...

...And while on the subject of Wishes and the 10 Inch Comets...Think that they would use DL's gold comet instead? You know, the one that they use in place of a "wish" in Remember.

Nooooooo hahahaha. A shell is different from a comet. There are six 10 inch shells used in Wishes fired from the main site. The largest comet used at the MK is 6 inches used for the 4th of July.

The comet from DL you refer to is 3 inches I believe, the same as RoE's largest comet. MK cannot use anything larger than 1.75 inches on the rooftops. Personally, I prefer the silver ones that are currently in place.
