Le Cellier impossible to get in?

I would just keep trying! There might be a cancellation! Even when you get to your hotel check with the concierge!! Sorry I couldn't be anymore helpful but that's what I would do!!

I have never had an issue either if I call first thing in the a.m. 180 days out. And this time, I got everything I wanted (less then 180 days out). However - Le Cell is always trickier. The ADR may not be the time or date I want - but I always get one.

I actually was just on the phone with a dining CM while typing this post and I was talking to her about Le Cell. I was canceling my ADR's (DH found out he has to work a project in Sept and we can't go now :() so she was distracting me and I got some Le Cell info. She said that Le Cell is the hardest one for anyone to book. It has surpassed CRT in bookings and requests. I asked her of the rumor about it becoming a Sign Rest and of course, she couldn't say anything. BUT she did offer up this info - she said that it would be "quite possible" that it would become a credit card required reservation. She knows, b/c she does it all the time for people, that they will book Le Cell every night of the trip. And she said that she knows, they don't always go each night, or more then once for that matter. And she knows people don't cancel when they decide not to go. So this way, it can stay a TS but people won't abuse the system.

As for what you can do - just keep calling. Just keep trying.

I've not had issues with 180 days out with anything ever, but I did try to get into Le Cellier a few months in advance for my last trip and couldn't get in. I didn't totally expect to with it only being 60 so days out, but I thought I'd get a cancellation. I called everyday, including during my trip, and even tried walking up. I never managed to get in - it is a very very popular place.

Same thing happened w/the Dessert Party at MK. I called the day reservations opened for that though, and called everyday after, with no cancellations. I understand your frustrations. I hope you get a cancellation!

If I walked up for a walk in and was asked if I was on the DDP I would say why does that even matter? Please get your manager so I can ask him/her if you have anything available...

I don't think they should even ask you if you are on the DDP at the front desk. It shouldn't make any difference to them. I think the person waiting on you needs to know but that's not until after you are seated.

I'm having the same issue. I could not get a reservation here for my trip this June. Last year, I wanted to try Boma, but they were completely unavailable. We went anyway to try a walk up, but really late at night. I'm thinking it was maybe 9:30 or later. There was no one there and they let us right in. Now, I doubt I'll have the same luck at Le Cellier as it's obviously WAY more popular than Boma, but I'm gonna give it a shot. That is if my belly holds out that long

I look every other day online for Le Cellier reservations. You can't get discouraged, if you do, don't bother.

Trotsky, I hope it goes Signature as well...

The place really has been ruined by the DDP, and I hope it does go signature. You can't blame CM's for favoring non-DDPers. I'm guessing over half DDPers don't realize YOU have to pay for the tip, its not included. So I'm sure....uhm.... some don't tip the BARE minimum... which to me is 20%. If I was a CM, i'd turn the DDPers away too! Of course it could go either way, a bad tipper is a bad tipper regardless of whether or not they're on the DDP.... blah

Our waitress asked us once we were seated if we were on the DDP, other than that, I was never asked by the host... only person I interacted with other than the waitress... cause I booked online.... so I think they're impartial... they just like to know if you'll be running up a huge bill....like we did.....lol..... 3 digits later for two people.....ugh.... but it was worth it!

Yachtsman is signature btw, so if you're looking at it for an alternative on the DDP, it'll cost you 2 meals and a collar on your shirt!

so, yes... Le Cellier is nearly impossible to get in!

I called WDW about a month ago after booking all my ADR's as a "shot in the dark" at Le Cellier. Something did pop up! Even the reservationist was shocked. Now, It was at 8pm on the day we arrived, and we weren't planning on doing the parks our first day. But we added on the extra day just to take advantage!

This is my 9th trip, and for the past 4, I have tried to get into this restaurant! Good luck...I really hope you get it!

I'm also in the same boat except my vacation is looming even closer. I'll be at WDW August 15-21 and Le Cellier is also my favorite restaurant. My girlfriend tried to book it 180 days out and no luck the entire week. We keep trying but our beginning to lose hope...:(

We're going the same time frame. We were lucky enough to get a reservation but only because it's the 9th day of our vacation and we logged in at 6am on our 180th day. We took what was offered and considered ourselves extremely lucky. I hope you can get in.:xmas:

Ridiculous to have to try that hard but worth it to me.

Crazy but....

I see your dilema, for i have experienced it myself. THis is crazy and almost meticulus, but call by everday. Even durring the trip if you havent gotten in yet. Sometimes they have cancelations, and if you time it right, you might get in. But be aware, alot of other people do it, so it can be frustrating. Just call everyday, multiple times a day if you can. That was how we made it into Libery Tree Tavern last time we went. Good Luck!

Glad you got in! That place is tough to get ressies for.

Ironic story time: We tried for 6 years to get in and never could do it. On our last trip in May, went online to book my ADR's (super last minute trip, 1 week out) booked an ADR at Coral Reef, which I was surprised to get, and then I tried to get Le Cellier and I actually got a ressie!!!! Unfortunately we ended up passing on it because we thought our daughter would enjoy seeing the fish at the Coral Reef better. It was just ironic that the one time we got the ressie we passed it up. Oh well, maybe next year!!!

DBF and I went this past may to WDW and couldn't get an ADR at le cellier to save our lives! One day during the middle of the trip, I was absolutely craving it, so we went to guest services to check, knowing we were probably wasting our time. Guess what? They actually had an 8:00 opening for us that night! So it IS possible if you just keep checking!
