Le Cellier going signature for dinner only

Honestly, I do not see them changing a thing until the guest count drops.

I find myself agreeing with you which is upsetting. It would be nice if Epcot offered some options that were a bit better considering how many table service places they already have. I would mind seeing Le Cellier and San Angel Inn (after Hacienda opens) become legitimate signature dining locations in line with Bistro de Paris.

I would not mind that either but personally I would much rather see them add TS places to MK and AK.

I wouldn't spend 2 credits on it--though it is great. I look
at a 2 credit experience as Hoop Dee Doo--where you get a show
as well, or something like that.

For my part, I'm just glad that I'm going in FEBRUARY. Now all I need
to do is get an ADR. The start date approaches . . . . .

We've only ever done lunch there and only every couple years. The service is mediocre, the food is eh, and it's so very cramped in there! If you're seated at a table on an aisle, be prepared to be moving your chair constantly. Perimeter seating is much better, but you have to weave through to get to the restrooms. Just not a good interior layout.

Personally I think that this will make getting ressies much easier now, we dont use the DDP, we use TIW which to us has been the better choice by far over time. Since this is a restaurant my family loves, I'm always booking it at the 180th day out, and if we change our mind on anything, we cant dine here, looking forward to easier reservations

First, forgive me... what's TIW stand for?

Second-
The first time we went to Le Cellier on the DDP, the plan covered food, tax, tip and soft drinks, dessert and coffee. Our bill was $270 (for 3 of us). Next time, after the DDP changed, we had to pay the tip, and our bill was $200 (for 2 of us). I can see why they would want to call this a Signature Experience. I will not, however, be using 2 TS credits for Le Cellier in the future. FYI- our average TS bills were a lot less than Le Cellier, so yes, it is definitely a higher cost, which means that TDO has to charge more. Brown Derby has not been patronized by us since they went to 2 TS credits- and I don't understand how that can be considered Signature.

I'm with the majority here regarding lunch ADRs at LeCellier. It will be more difficult to obtain a lunch ADR now. Dinner ADRs were nearly impossible and lunch will be too. Perhaps dinner ADRs will drop off due to this move. Yachtsman Steakhouse is two TS, maybe more people will now choose this option. I also agree, AK could use more TS locations.

One more reason to expand that dining facility to all that empty space in the building above it.They already have a service elevator in the back kitchen.

From what I understand the kitchen is not large enough to support more guests.

I believe I have read the same. Although the idea of some sort of lounge up there does have appeal. Especially for Illuminations....
Yes it would. Are there enough windows up there to allow for viewing? I have never been up there so I have no clue what the set up is.

There seems to be, with the "shops" or whatever they're supposed to be lining both sides of the "avenue." But I'm certain a little creative Imagineering could remedy whatever is lacking. The buildings aren't exactly overly productive now as is, save for storage I believe.....

I have been waiting for this change for a while now. If folks remember several years back, the Brown Derby in the Studios was only 1 dining credit -- and folks at that time said it was the best value out there. Well that changed too. I figured Le Cellier was not too far behind.

i would love to see a lounge n the unused space. As WS is amnly for adults, another lounge be great lke at San Angles tequilla bar. As for the 2 TS, no way is it worth it with the current menu, they have to change it comp-letely and add better cuts of meat and a little more exotic items like at narcooses and cali grille. Maybe add some moose, sockeye salmon, walleye, maple glazed pork chop stuffed with apple walnut stufiing. beter deserts too!
