The hubby and I have been racking our brains over what to do for the July 4th weekend. We want to do something fun. We kicked around going to Atlanta to do the show out at Stone Mountain...Sea World in San Antonio...Pensacola Beach for the fireworks & Blue Angels show...but we always come back to Disney and wishing we could do that. Our Florida Seasonal passes won't let us into the parks which is fine with us because it's gonna be hot & crowded anyway. Soooo, I found a great discount & scored a club level room at the Yacht Club for 2 nights for less than $400 a night. WooHooooo!
I dooooo have some questions, tho. We'd *like* to do a fireworks cruise but I called an they are all booked up. Okay. We're concierge level. I wonder can the concierge staff work their magic and make one happen. Just in case, is there a good place to be along Crescent Lake for the fireworks in Epcot? Or would we be better off somewhere over by one of the Magic Kingdom resorts to view the Magic Kingdom's fireworks show? What fireworks are better for the 4th and is there any info anywhere about this stuff??? I'm clueless. I've never even thought to go to WDW during the summer much less a holiday. But, again, we aren't interested in parks or anything. We just want to go, hang out, do some resort-hopping, partake of the resort recreation such as the movies on the beach, and put in a little time at Stormalong Bay maybe early in the morning or late in the evening (we are all super-fair-complected). Oh! And what are Stormalong Bay's hours??? I know nothing!
