Walt would hang his head in shame to see what they did to his beloved Epcot.

I think in the end my point is... the reasons, are the reasons, are the reasons. It's all much of a muchness to me. Who cares? Apart from how ugly Epcot has been, which IS an issue, how long something takes is such an annoying thing to constantly be brought up.
You're right, he was spinning in his grave when EPCOT Center opened. How dare they turn his city of tomorrow into a glorified world's fair.Walt would hang his head in shame to see what they did to his beloved Epcot
I'm old enough to remember when we were supposed to be excited about the Adventurers Club being replaced with seed & mulch.Maybe to learn lessons for the future?
In no way can one of your parks have so much of it closed off for nearly half a decade for utter nonsensity EVER AGAIN.
And for what? Rocks and trees.
On my birthday.Speaking of nature, but has nothing to do with the price of tea in China, look in the evening sky 15 minutes after sunset for the Blue Moon!

Oh how certain everyone was that Hyperion Wharf was a real thing and it wasn't just imagineering throwing out blue sky ideas that they never ever had any intention of actually building.Hyperion Wharf was so much fun.
So was the Main Street Theater, Play Pavilion, etc etcHyperion Wharf was so much fun.
Even in Hypothetical Land the Play Pavilion sounded pretty lame...So was the Main Street Theater, Play Pavilion, etc etc
The reason it didn’t move forward is just because they couldn’t get enough tenants interested. They tried again with a bigger and more appealing plan four years later and that one worked.Oh how certain everyone was that Hyperion Wharf was a real thing and it wasn't just imagineering throwing out blue sky ideas that they never ever had any intention of actually building.
It's bizarre that they went to the trouble of creating a new "pavilion" symbol for JOW. Then as far as I can tell, it's nowhere to be found on the site signage.![]()
I have all the financials here and I could tell you, but I couldn't find "splash pad" in the docs. What’s the rumored budget on this splash pad?
Disney's vision was impossible to implement. Disregarding the issue of voters, you can't experiment with people's live (as John Hench said) so it would have become just "E"You're right, he was spinning in his grave when EPCOT Center opened. They don’t want the big logo to be the thing that they came up with for the primary purpose of generating interest and selling merchandise to fans of old Epcot. They want the actual Moana logo on the rock because that’s from the movie Moana! To the folks in charge, Epcot just happened to have a vacant plot of land open that Moana filled.Right??? I know it’s a variation on the Moana logo, but why didn’t they put the new one in the entrance rock work??
