Looking to make my night-before-the-cruise reservation. I want the Hyatt Regency Orlando, right? That's the one attached to the airport? And is there a shuttle that will take me to the boat or do I have to book a taxi?

I noticed yesterday SW had come down $100 on the round trip for me. Still haven't purchased. Still considering driving.

We just rebooked today. Price came down $32 a person. That's not a TON, but it's still some savings. Between the rebooking for next month and the cruise trip, I have a $74 credit. And we're going again in November so every little bit helps! Ashley has a $163 credit so her ticket for November will be almost paid for. that;s why I LOVE SW!! :)

Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. The Disney cruise transfers will get you from there, and better yet - they'll get your bags! :)

I'm planning on staying there if I only come in the night before.

OK, I haven't booked yet, but I have kind of a silly question. I have never traveled for leisure without my husband and son and I am having a hard time "giving myself permission" to it. I have only traveled without them for work reasons. I feel guilty about it. To the people with kids, has anyone felt like this? I feel stupid for even asking!

I felt kind of guilty leaving the hubby at home the first time I went for an extended trip without him, but realized that I was only worried about everything at home being taken care of like I would like it done - I have visions of him running around in dirty clothes and eating out of frozen dinner cartons, and the cat litter box overflowing. Then I told myself, he is an adult, and as such is capable of taking care of himself, maybe not as well as I have for the last 34 years, but he will survive for a week. So I've gone to Disney, Vegas, the UK and Paris, some trips with my daughter and some trips with my girlfriends.

That being said, maybe your husband and son could use the time you're gone for some extra father-son bonding. They could plan some activities just for them, see a movie, go to a sporting event, or even plan a couple days away without you sometime!

I totally understand that! I felt horrible the first time! But they all were just fine without me, and didn't want to keep me from doing something so fun just so I could stay home for everyday life. Other than work, it's not something I do all the time, and I definitely take them as much as I can! :)
