If you're tired of the same old, same old & would like to excuse yourself from this one I get it. No hard feelings, really... Considering this is my third TR in 3 months & not too much changes with us I'm sure you feel like you know my family & I as well as your own!! I guess that could be good or bad...:hilarious:

Anyhow, for those who are going to stick around thanks for reading & welcome!!

Disney Jim, the piano player is amazing!! In all our years of trips we had never seen him. My son had found his videos years ago and watched them over and over. (Odd for a teenager, at the time but that is just my son, he appreciated things most teens did not) Anyway, when we went with him and his wife, stepson in 2015- we had split up and his dad and I stopped at Casey’s for fries, came out and he was playing! I text and told him but his wife didn’t want to stay. :( I felt so bad as they walked by and he tried so hard to linger and walk as slow as he could to watch. She is not very much of a park person. 😞 We stayed and videoed. Last year he wasn’t there while we’re at MK, so he missed him again. So hope when he is able to go back he can enjoy the show. I would have never known so much about him had it not been for my sweet boy. I could sit and listen/watch him all day long!

This too--I bought a keychain of this on that trip.
I guess J didn't get the memo that we were taking a photo at that point:hilarious:

I'm catching up after being away for the weekend! I Am totally going to have to get this keychain when we head down there in just ONE MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!:jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:

I'm impressed J knows where to go, how wonderful he's been able to have so many great experiences in the WORLD and how brave is he about Pirates and HM!! Proud of him!

I LOVE CHH! I've never tried the lobster roll but I'm glad to hear it's delicious! :geek::geek:

Will J be as brave on SSE this time?

He is very good & entertaining!! I must be at the right place at the right time b/c I have seen him quite a few times!!

One month--how exciting!! I hope you have a great time!!

He has the memory of an elephant I swear!! He is getting braver each time!! He was a pro on SSE this time also!!

The lobster roll is very good. I will say it has shrunk in size over the years though.....

I love it!! Adding it to my short list of things to pick up when we're there in March!
The only negative I have about the key chain is that it is big and loud. When I put my keys in a door it's always banging around & it's quite noisy. But, it brings such a smile to my face that I can deal with it!!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

J wanted to go to the Confectionery while E wanted to go to the Emporium. J & I headed to go look at the sweets. He never said anything but he seemed to be pretty excited that we were going there. He probably realizes that he can get away with getting more candy from his aunt instead of his mom!!

He likes the Mickey licorice(so do I--my favorite!!) so that was the first thing he grabbed.
IMG_4989.jpeg

He wanted some jelly beans so I let him pick out a "few":p
IMG_4990.jpeg

That's one happy kiddo there!!

The sky was getting pretty dark so we decided to head out before a storm came rolling in.
IMG_4991.jpeg

IMG_4992.jpeg

And this we would b/c we would be back in a few days!!
IMG_4993.jpeg

A bus came right away and we were on our way back to POR.
Here's a few shots I took from the bus:
IMG_4995.jpeg

It was getting awfully dark.....
IMG_4996.jpeg

E & J got off at the East Depot & headed to their room. I got off at the South Depot to see if my luck had changed with the fuel rod.
IMG_4997.jpeg

I have never seen the horses out front before. I guess they were keeping them out of the rain.
IMG_4998.jpeg

Yeah--my luck hadn't changed....

I took a walk through Ol' Man Island on the way back to my room.
Muddy Rivers is such an enjoyable place to sit & relax!!
IMG_5001.jpeg

I had hopes that we could roast marshmallows tonight for J but that wasn't going to happen.
IMG_5002.jpeg

Beautiful!!
IMG_5003.jpeg

I relaxed in my room for a bit then headed down to The River Roost so I could get us a table. I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink initially so I told the waiter I would take a water with lemon. When he returned he told me he didn't bring me a straw b/c, and I quote, "Disney is doing the whole no straw movement." He told me if I requested it though he would give me one. I'm told him I was fine without it. I finally decided on a Pina Colava so imagine my surprise when he brought it out with not one but two straws in it?!?!
IMG_5004.jpeg

E & J arrived. J really wanted to go to the arcade. E didn't feel like going so I told her to stay at the table & have my drink while I took J to the arcade.
IMG_5005.jpeg

IMG_5006.jpeg

Yes, in case you were wondering, he was already in his pajamas since E had given him a bath!!

He played this game for quite awhile. I asked him if he remembered who played the game with him the last time he played it. He correctly answered Uncle R.
IMG_5007.jpeg

A little hoop action going on...
IMG_5008.jpeg

IMG_5009.jpeg

He wanted to go in the photo booth but made it very clear that he didn't want me to join in:jawdrop:
IMG_5010.jpeg

After spending as much as one would in a casino I told him it was time to go back to see YeHaa Bob!! I'm glad we made time to go to the arcade though b/c it was something he really wanted to do!!

We couldn't be at The River Roost and not order the Loaded Potato Puffs!! These things are excellent!!
IMG_5011.jpeg

J decided he wanted a banana. I told him I'm going to start calling him R(remember my 1st trip report & how R had to have his banana every day?) J's response was, "I'm not Uncle R. I'm J!"
IMG_5012.jpeg

Bob stopped by to say hello before the show.
IMG_6721.jpeg

Let the show begin!!
IMG_5013.jpeg

He called J up to the stage for a bit during one of the songs.

What an entertainer!!

E knows about the my TR's but has yet to read them(I'm very insulted by that I might add;))
She told me that and I was like ! And I told her she should read them.
That darn Winnie the Pooh ride blew it for me!! But like I said had I not made that FP she probably wouldn't have been there at that time. From what E said we missed each other by just a few minutes. But I totally understand!! Hopefully we'll get a second chance another time!!
Yes, hopefully next time! Although next time will likely not be for a while

Your reports always make me sad that we missed Yehaa Bob when we stayed at Riverside in February. If I never get to see him, it will be @krause's fault :cautious::hilarious:

At this point, I would suggest just buying yourself a regular external charger... having a fuel rod you can never exchange is doing you no good! My external charger can charge my iphone 3 or 4 times at least!

She's asked me the name of this site & I've told her. R even had me put the app on his phone but he hasn't read them either. Thanks for trying to encourage her!!

He calls all the kids up front for a few songs throughout his show. J & this other young man were the only two kids there that would partake!!
IMG_5021.jpeg

A lady sitting at the table across from us ordered a drink the came with a glow cube. She must have noticed J eyeing it so she took it out of her drink & gave it to him. How nice of her!!
IMG_5023.jpeg

Then there was the family sitting behind us who felt it was alright to leave their sons shoe on the table:eek:
IMG_5024.jpeg

J was getting tired so he & E left around 9:45.
IMG_5025.jpeg

I stayed until the end of his second show which ended around 11. There was a third one but I was too tired to stick around.
IMG_5026.jpeg

Selfie with Bob!!
IMG_5027.jpeg

Unfortunately, this would be the only time we would see him this trip. He was leaving the next morning to perform at a wedding out of town. We were bummed but were glad we got to see him once at least!!

Yee-Haw Bob sounds so fun! You're lucky you got a pic with him!! The arcade sounds super fun for a little one! Maybe next time you'll get to be IN the pics with J :geek::geek:
His shows are super fun for adults & kids both!! I actually have lots of pictures with him. He invites everyone to get their picture with him during the intermissions.

The arcade isn't my thing but it is exciting for the younger ones. We didn't make it there when we were there in August & he kept asking to go this time. The nice thing is that it is never crowded in there. I must say I was insulted that he didn't want me in the pictures!!

I met back up with E & J. He was sleeping. We decided to take turns going under the sea.

E was waiting for me at the exit. It was a perfect spot for J to take his nap. You could feel the a/c coming from the ride. The area was out of the sun & was relatively quiet. She asked me where I was going to go with J. I told her I was going to stay there b/c it was the perfect spot for him to nap at. Besides, it was a nice spot for me to stay out of the heat also.
View attachment 321001

I was really paying attention to the details at the exit while I was waiting.
View attachment 321002

While I was waiting for E I looked to see if any FP's were available for right around then. As luck would have it I scored one for a nearby attraction. When E got back I told her that I booked us one for Winnie the Pooh. It is not one of our favorites & we next to never go on it so when E had a pained look on her face once I told her I really wasn't surprised. I told her it is something we next to never go on so we were due & at least we didn't have to wait in a long line for it. She headed over while I still stayed with J in the same spot.
View attachment 321003

View attachment 321004

When she returned I asked her how it was. The response I got was, "It is what it is":hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

J was still sleeping so she stayed put with him while I took my turn to go visit the Hundred Acre Wood.
View attachment 321005

As I approached E she was waving at me to come over to her. She was much more excited than she was when she got back from her visit with Pooh. She told me I would never believe what had just happened. She said someone came up to introduce themselves to her. She said she knew her as "E" and recognized her from my trip reports. It was @AKemily!!! When she first told me I was in disbelief. I thought it was so cool that she approached E. I was super bummed though that I wasn't there. What were the chances of running into her?!?! Then I started asking a bunch of questions that she couldn't answer. I think she was still surprised!! I asked if she was coming off the ride & noticed her or was she walking by & noticed her at the exit. She said that she didn't come off the ride but maybe she did earlier & noticed her that's why she came over. @AKemily can you shed some light on how this transpired? I asked her what she was wearing figuring she couldn't be too far & hopefully I could pick her out so I could say hello also. My biggest question though was why they didn't get a picture to document such an important occasion!! Smartypants E said she was unsure of what proper forum etiquette was. I was bummed that J was sleeping so she couldn't meet him. But then I thought about it--if it wasn't for him sleeping E wouldn't have been there & @AKemily probably wouldn't have seen her.

@AKemily I think it was so neat of you to introduce yourself to E. Again, I'm bummed I didn't get to meet you myself. I kept a real close eye out for you the rest of our time at MK that day but unfortunately it never happened.....hopefully it will someday soon!!

Cool that E had the unexpected meet-up with @AKemily !

Love the little stories you interject. Really add to the TR.

Someday I'll get to see Yahoo Bob - jealous!

That was really neat!! I'm glad my sister got to meet her even though I didn't:cry: I really give her credit for approaching E!!

Thank you very much!! That's very nice of you to say!!

Even if you're not staying at POR he's worth making a trip there! His shows are hysterical!! He does a nice mix of Disney songs, popular ones & some of his own. His own songs are a riot!!
I always love your reports. You are such a sweet aunt to J and I am sure E appreciates the little breaks you provide. Looks like a really fun time! :)
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoy them. It's hard not to be sweet to J b/c he's so darn cute & fun to be around! It was a lot of fun!!
