WHY: Passholder Play Time

If you're tired of the same old, same old & would like to excuse yourself from this one I get it. No hard feelings, really... Considering this is my third TR in 3 months & not too much changes with us I'm sure you feel like you know my family & I as well as your own!! I guess that could be good or bad...

Anyhow, for those who are going to stick around thanks for reading & welcome!!

Wow! And I thought the time my brother forgot the Flame Tree BBQ sauce bottle was in is carry-on was bad!! I wonder what TSA does with all of the items people have to ditch at security. Raffle them off? Donate them? Xmas gifts?

I've wondered that myself. I would hope they get to keep them or can donate them--especially new items. I'm sure this happens quite often.

I'm loving the oft overlooked elements of your pictures! In the first one of your next post, you can see J's reflection in the DME bus window.

Yes--to have the energy of a 3 year old again.... He's funny b/c he's been there so many times that he really does know his way around there so he's usually correct when he's leading the way!!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

I noticed more & more of those little flags everywhere. It kind of took away from the beauty of the resort but what can you do.

A very short & slow walk for me today. I was having some pain in my right foot so it was slowing me down.

I showered & got ready for our first full Disney day!!

I walked to E & J's room and off we went to the East Depot.

J enjoyed his warm & fresh "donut"!!

We were a stones throw from the East Depot so that was perfect!!

Great--the next bus was due to come in 9 minutes--would it??

I looked on MDE while waiting for the bus--I was still not on my reservation

The arrival time kept getting pushed back. The "bus time" feature on the app was working--partially!!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

And we're on our way to the Magic Kingdom!! Regardless of how empty a bus is J always wants to sit in the back.

And now I understand why I've noticed people with the "banned" selfie sticks in the parks. The gentleman in front of us was stopped going through security b/c he had a selfie stick. He was told he could not bring it into the park & he needed to check it in at guest relations. Since absolutely not one person made sure that he went that way do you think he did?

This is one of my favorite sights at MK!!

This too--I bought a keychain of this on that trip.

The line for Starbucks wasn't bad at all so you know E & I had to get our fix in!!

I somehow manage to see this every time I go to MK. I always enjoy it. I never thought that time would be my last.

Finally--a castle picture!!

We don't go out of our way too much to stop for photos but we try to make it a point to get one each trip in front of the castle first thing otherwise it will never happen. I'm glad Memory Maker is included in the AP b/c I think we would be wasting a lot of money if we had to pay for it.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

We headed to my favorite land in the Magic Kingdom!! I was happy to see that the walkway was back to normal. It was a serious cluster the month before when we were there.

We had a FP for none other than the world famous Jungle Cruise!!

The FP line was much shorter than the one we experienced the month before.

My intent was to take a picture of this sign. I just noticed I caught E with a very puzzled look on her face. @winstongator--here's another one to add to the collection!!

One of my favorites in the distance!!

Unfortunately no Skipper Joseph for us today. When we got to the dock we asked if he was working that day & the CM said she wasn't sure but in reality she acted like she had no clue who he was.

BTW--J's really started to take a liking to this ride!!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

My favorite part of this ride!!

Our Skipper, Michael was pretty good!! He wasn't Joseph but was fun & entertaining!!

J really enjoys the elephants.

To E's dismay J wanted to ride the Flying Carpets next. She didn't really want to b/c we had FP's later for Dumbo(a must for J) & since this ride is basically the same thing she didn't see much point in it. But he really wanted to and there was no pretty much no wait so on the Flying Carpets it was!! Truth be told I was excited--even though it's short I really enjoy this one!!

I won't include the photo(I really just took it to make sure I remembered to mention this) but I was appalled & embarrassed for the woman & her family that were in front of us in line for this. I have never seen shorts on a grown woman that covered so little. I can't see where they could be comfortable in the least. I was embarrassed just looking at her. I'm glad J is young b/c if one of my older nieces or nephews were with me I would have been super uncomfortable. So inappropriate......

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

After our magic carpet ride we headed over to wake up the glee club. This is another one that J really enjoys & we missed it last trip so we wanted to make sure we got it in this time.

While we were waiting J pointed out to me how dirty the ceiling was and wanted to know why. Yeah--I really didn't have a good answer for that one.

E likes to sit close to exits while J would prefer to sit front & center. A little discussion ensued regarding where we were going to sit. E won in the end.

I guess J didn't get the memo that we were taking a photo at that point

J keeps getting tougher every trip & he announced to E & myself that he would go on Pirates this time!! We quickly headed there next before he had a chance to change his mind!!

I give him credit for going on b/c I could tell that he was nervous. He kept asking about the hill & if he was going to get wet. The true sign of him being nervous is when he asks me to hold him in line. He's getting too big to be held for long periods of time but I don't mind doing it knowing it makes him feel better. He also wanted to sit on my lap for the ride.

Holy red eye!!

I only managed one somewhat semi-decent picture.

At the end of the ride J said, "See, I didn't cry". Then he proceeded to ask me when I would buy him a car. He remembered that the month before I tried to bribe him with a car if he went on Pirates without crying. I guess he thought the offer still stood a month later!!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH

Time to head to our next FP....

It was close to noon at this point & I was pleasantly surprised at how low the crowds still were.

Time for "A Haunted Mansion"--as J calls it.

He thinks he's big stuff now that he will ride this. In June he absolutely refused to go on & by August he was riding it like a pro!!

He asked to ride with me. But, I didn't hold him in line so he couldn't have been too scared!!

He told me that this is his favorite part(what??--the kid who wouldn't ride it 3 months ago has a favorite part already!!) & asked me to take a few pictures of it.
For what they're worth---

This is mine so I attempted to take one...

There wasn't a line for the PP photographer so we stopped on our way out. I was hoping to end up with a ghost in our picture since I have yet to get one.

Yay!! I was so excited to see this!!
