If you're tired of the same old, same old & would like to excuse yourself from this one I get it. No hard feelings, really... Considering this is my third TR in 3 months & not too much changes with us I'm sure you feel like you know my family & I as well as your own!! I guess that could be good or bad...:hilarious:

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th

We headed to lunch next.
IMG_5124.jpeg

I know we're probably in the minority on this one but we really enjoy Pizzerizzo!! Figures--it's a thing of the past now:cry:
IMG_5125.jpeg

IMG_5126.jpeg

So, it was 11:15 & the lines don't look too bad, right?
IMG_5128.jpeg

We ended up mobile ordering from inside the restaurant b/c that's how slow the lines were moving!! We had our food within 2 minutes!!
IMG_5130.jpeg

J & I sat down while E waited for their food.
IMG_5131.jpeg

When J lifted up that curtain I realized there was a family sitting on the other side. I corrected him & told him he couldn't lift it up anymore.
IMG_5132.jpeg

J loves olives so E got him a cup of olives on the side to go with his pizza.
IMG_5133.jpeg

E had the meatball sub.
IMG_5134.jpeg

Finally!! I was able to swap out my Fuel Rod. The machine in Pizzerizzo has never let me down. Now where do I go??

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH

After we got done eating lunch it was around noon. E wanted to walk J through the stores to see if she could get him to fall asleep. We had FP's for TSMM then & I told her we could take turns riding but she didn't want to so I went off alone.

I headed back to where we had just come from. I was meeting E & J over this way. E & I had been wanting to try something new for awhile & we were finally going to do it today.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH

This was our destination!!
IMG_5145.jpeg

IMG_5146.jpeg

IMG_5147.jpeg

We each got a beer flight. The beer on the left was a Golden Road 329 Lager-they were out of cards for it. E got a flight also but a few of her beers differed from mine.
IMG_5148.jpeg

We found seats inside against the window which was nice. J was sleeping at that point.
IMG_5149.jpeg

Another picture of my flight.
IMG_5150.jpeg

We sat & enjoyed our beers for a bit. We wanted to sample the food so we ordered a few things. Everything was pretty tasty!!
IMG_5152.jpeg

IMG_5153.jpeg

Cheers!!
IMG_0596.jpeg

How about mom sitting in her kids stroller drinking a beer?? It's not like there weren't any empty seats around & the stroller was her only option.
IMG_5155.jpeg

We had a FP for RNRC but we were enjoying our relaxing afternoon so much that we modified it until a little bit later.

Me thinks Olaf might have something to say about that!!!!

I think you're right!!
Mmmm, Baseline Taphouse looks so good!
We really enjoyed it there!! I can see why you like it so much. Next on our to do list is HBD Lounge. We have ate at the restaurant before but haven't gone to the lounge. Every time we walk by it we say we have to make time to go there--hopefully next time!!

I like the Brown Derby lounge a lot too, another great place to people watch and have a nice drink and snack. The Derby sliders are really good, the duck ones sound a little strange but are really good.

[/QUOTE] I bought him 2 cars(I kept my promise from the month before I guess). While we were waiting for E he bowled for a bit. A CM had set up bowling pins so he had fun with that.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH--DEPARTURE DAY!!:)

So, let me start by saying that Southwest's flight times were not the greatest. We only fly nonstop to Orlando b/c it's really only a 2 hour flight so we can't see the point in wasting half a day or more having a connection. Plus, having a connection increases the chances of flight delays, lost luggage etc. With that being said it also means that we don't have as many choices when it comes to flight times. There were 3 nonstops from Pittsburgh that day. The first one was at 6:00 a.m.--not a big fan of that one plus that one would be really tough on J. The second one was at 4:10 & the last one was at 7:00. We booked the 4:10 flight. Since we didn't have to leave for the airport until 1:15 I had 6 hours to kill at work. Lucky me!! At least it made the time go by fast. Far better than staring at the clock waiting to leave.

Since MDE has been such a friend lately(yeah right!!) I took pictures of my FP's & times on the computer screen a few days prior to leaving. Very wise move on my part b/c when I logged on that morning at work this is what I found:

So here I am--24 hours away from my first FP of the trip & MDE claims I haven't made any yet......

I left work and drove to E's house around 12:45. Her husband loaded up the car & we were on our way about 1:10. On the way to the airport J asked me if I wanted to play a game. He would say, "I see something that you don't see and it's (a color)." So then I would guess what he was looking at. When it was my turn I told him I wasn't going to use a color. I said, "I see something that you don't see and it's over there." I pointed to a few buildings that were blocked by trees for the most part. He told me, "I know, that's where Uncle R works." I was quite impressed--J has only been to R's work one time!!

E's husband had us at the airport by 1:40. We said our goodbyes, checked our bags at curbside & headed to security only to find the TSA Precheck line looking like this:

The line actually stretched back further than this. We couldn't believe how long it was but the good news is that we got through it in about 10 minutes.

Someone's excited to go to Disney!!
View attachment 320450
J is always excited to go to Disney but I commented to E that he seemed super excited this time. He kept talking about all the things he was going to ride. He had a different level of enthusiasm than he normally does. He really seemed into this trip!!

On the "monorail".
View attachment 320451

When we got off the "monorail" J led the way to his favorite store at the airport. He gets a car from this store every time he goes to the airport.

He picked a Camaro this time.

A week before we left I found a little purse type thing(I forgot I had it) in my car. It has tons of gift cards in it. One of them was a gift card to TGI Friday's. There really isn't one by me so I made sure to bring it so I could use it at the airport.

E ordered potstickers & a spinach dip. I ordered fried shrimp & french fries.

While we were eating an announcement kept being made. It was something along the lines of there being something active going on in a certain section of the airport. That area of the airport would need to be cleared while it was investigated so we should notice more traffic than normal in the section of the airport that we were in. We never heard what was going on but hearing that announcement(multiple times) made E & I both nervous.
View attachment 320455
Neither E or I were too impressed with the food. Also, when I went to pay the bill our waitress told me that they don't take TGI Friday's gift cards:confused:

J wanted to go to the Sarris candy store. We each got a piece of chocolate.

The lady who waited on us gave each of us a free pretzel!!

@riverside , I burst out laughing when I saw the photos of your little guy, next to giant Chewbacca!! OMG! Those photos are just so cute! :joyfull:
Thanks!! The funny thing is J is actually pretty tall for his age but next to Chewbacca I guess everyone seems short!! E is not even 5' but her husband is something like 6' 4" so maybe someday he will catch up to Chewbacca if he takes after his dad!!

Welcome!! It's a good thing I don't live that close to it--I'd be in big trouble!! Thanks for reading--I hope you enjoy it!!
Did you catch the Steeler shirts on main street in our member pic?! But, I love @riverside's Penguin/Mickey shirt for sure! And very much enjoying her trip report, keeping me going till our December trip!
Nice shirts!! R bought our shirts from NHL.com. Have fun in December!!:)

She asked him to look out for batteries and to bring them to her if he found any. We may have not got to meet any of the characters but this was a really great interaction that made me smile!!
What a cool character interaction! Everyone thinks about the Princesses or the Fab Five or the big characters like Woody but finding characters like this or your Stormtrooper moments prove that anything can be magical!

I LOVE the pic with Chewbacca, looks like J really loves him!

I bought him 2 cars(I kept my promise from the month before I guess).

What a sweet Aunt! And two more cars! Lucky dude! I bet he will love CARSLAND someday!
