I thought the Icon of the park was the Water Tower
Originally it was. Now it's the hat. The Theater has always been the weenie.

The buses often have weird abbreviations on them on the way to parks, so I wouldn't necessarily read anything into that. No inside info though.
Puzzled over that abbreviation a bit, but couldn't make sense of it. My guess would be a typo or computer error on that bus.Yeah that really wasn't part of the info I heard. I just added it because it was weird to see an abbreviation that makes zero sense.
Big a@@ hat.Big animation hat. The sorcerers hat. Had to google search that acronym.
Yeah tried to keep kid friendly there. The hat really is an eyesore when coming up the Main Street. Time to go.Big a@@ hat.

O.k. So DHHST would indicate an empty bus going to the Studios. Got it.The DH in acronyms on the buses stand for "Dead-Head". So DHMK means Dead-Head Magic Kingdom.
It means that the bus isn't currently carrying passengers, but is en route to a park to pick up passengers.

Wait, there's buses full of Dead Heads at WDW? Awesome!
It would seem like a no-brainer to just destroy this thing. That's why they won't.
But the money they could get from selling the scrap metal will more than offset the cost of demolition. It would seem to cost a few dollars, therefore it won't happen.
If memory serves me correctly the hat is supposed to hide the theater due to licensing rights dating back to the old MGM days.
