The removal of the hat has been anything but slow. This deserves the reward for fastest Disney project in the last decade!

This is just the removal of a prop.
The destruction of Horizons in plain sight for six months was poor show.
It bordered on disgraceful.

Here I go being a rebel, using logic and what-not, but one might believe that after the main structure gets below a certain point, let's say within 5 feet clearance of the walls, that work could be done during the day as well. It is the slowest time of the year, and with the right equipment, they could do it rather unobtrusively.
Speaking of which, I'm staying in ASMusic... I should swing by!
WOW. I haven't seen that in ages. I used to have it on VHS back in the day.
And lasting all the way up until the pull down the walls to reveal absolutely nothing behind them on February 22, 2015.

My only hope is that as soon as they get the hat down, they get to work cleaning up the Chinese theater... never paid attention to how bad it has been looking...

While I agree that show isn't exactly WDW's top priority these days, there isn't much that can be done to hide this deconstruction, its just too big.

But in all seriousness it seems like Disney just didn't do anything for years (say since 2001?) They figured nobody is going to see it if there's a giant hat blocking its view.
DHS reminds me of cleaning out a closet. It's a mess so you take stuff out and realize the stuff behind the mess is just as messy because the mess has been covering it up.

Tower of Terror right now the street is supposed to look old.
The fact that the Tower of Terror looks in better shape than the Theater tells me that even if it's supposed to look old, its not being maintained adequately .

so basically because the paint is fading out just a bit ( which i think makes it look better ) it now supposedly looks worse than tot... wow lol... y'all are hard to please....
